Reviewer Comments: Overall, I would highly recommend this property - very clean, quiet area, easy to drive to beach with several options (further than a 15 minute walk). Only complaint was selfie check in as cell service was not working well outside of the property. I would suggest sending check in information prior to arrival. Other than that, the place was perfect! We would love to stay there again!

The only thing I would suggest is the beach chairs and umbrella the house provides should be replaced.

They love this house (mom and dad do too!) and it’s just a 2 minute drive to the beach!! If you wanted to go for a walk, you could walk to the beach. But I wouldn’t recommend it if you’re bringing beach chairs, sand toys, coolers, etc. It’s probably around 15 minute or so walk. We feel right at home in this house and hope we get to stay there again in the future. The Santa Rosa Beach area is a great alternative to Destin as it is quieter and not as busy, but it’s a growing area with plenty to do. You must eat at Stinky’s and Pizza by the Sea! And Destin is less than 30 minutes away. We go to this area in September, which leads to smaller crowds too. But that’s how we like it. I also wanted to say a huge thank you to Pam and her management team as our refrigerator quit working before we arrived on Labor Day. We went to the grocery store before we checked in, so we had to throw a few cold things out like milk and cook other things before they spoiled. The maintenance team arrived first thing the next morning to try and fix it, but they had to order a part. The part did not arrive while we were there, but we got a large mini fridge in its place. And Pam brought us ice multiple times! It was a huge help! The mini fridge obviously has its limits with space, but we didn’t let it ruin our stay at all. We usually have a filtered water pitcher and we brew our own tea, so we couldn’t do it this time. Pam & her team’s quick response and concern for our situation greatly impacted our positive response and our attitude regarding the issue. We were grateful for that. We can’t wait for our next trip to Santa Rosa Beach and we look forward to using My Vacation Haven again in the future! 🌴🌴 ☀️ ☀️

Loved everything about the house, with the exception of some small things. First, there were no replacement trashbags for the kitchen can. With six of use, we filled that can quickly and had to use plastic Walmart bags to get us through the week. 2nd, someone changed the pool code mid-week and we had to track them down to get it.

Very impressed and It lived up to the pictures. Very clean, beds were comfortable and worked great for the 6 of us (youngest being 17). I would highly recommend this place and would not hesitate to return again in the future.

This was a great home for a family vacation. It was a little bit of a walk to the beach, we actually preferred driving and parking instead. The bunk room did stay a little warm and the fan didn’t work so we had to buy our own to keep the air circulating. The inside and outdoor space were great and accommodating to all! We would definitely stay here again!

My husband and I were impressed with all of the amenities of this property. Perfect location for us - 15 min walk to beach/2 min drive. Appreciated the chairs and umbrella for use at the beach! Loved the screened porch area. Seating/set up in house was perfect for the time we spent in the house. Appreciated the pans/utensils, etc available since we made breakfast every morning before hitting the beach. The Santa Rosa Beach access was amazing and the beaches were the best in the area- so beautiful! We loved the whole area - but this little neighborhood was so great - close to what we needed but away from the busier 30a and 98 noise. It was just a 1 1/2 mile walk on a paved walking/biking path to the Gulf Place shopping area with great restaurants/shops. There was a bike rental place also which we didn’t take advantage of this trip. First time ever on the Emerald Coast but definitely won’t be our last!

There’s plenty of space for everyone to relax especially if you have two families traveling together the beds are very comfortable and the kids loved the bunk room. The fire pit was a hit every night. The pool is beautiful and there is a gas fireplace in that area which we utilized several times. The beach is within walking distance and you were also in close proximity to several good restaurants and a nice shopping district. Don’t miss out on this place. It’s fantastic.
