We're Pet-friendly!
Fredericksburg is a very pet-friendly town, and we are happy to welcome our furry friends at Ufer Haus! There will be a flat fee of $150 per stay with a maximum of two dogs, no larger than 25 pounds each.
We ask you please crate your dog in your absence, do not allow them on beds or furniture and to properly dispose of their waste. Doggy bags, bowls and paw towels will be provided. Any damage incurred to the property by the pet will be billed accordingly.
Additionally, our yard is NOT completely fenced and is located on the corner lot of Ufer and Milam St. Deer often roam the property in the early mornings and evenings. With that said, please leash your dog when outside for their safety.
Property is close to Main Street and away from the noise and crowd. The beautiful deer at the backyard makes it so relaxing, I would come back to this again.
Clean, well- appointed and great location. We especially enjoyed the patio setting for reading and relaxing .
Im not sure how to rate our staof large number of dead bugs. y. The house was clean and initially very acceptable. The knob to the back dorr fell off, spiders in the bedroom came down from the vents and i couldnt open the bedroom window because of the dead bugs piled up. The yard is a blanket of sandburs. If they accept small dogs then its a challenge to take them to the bathroom. Each time i took our dog outside he had burs in all four paws. There was a skeleton of a dead cat in the backyard. Location of the house to diwntown was good. Lots of traffic on street next to house, starts at 5am and slows down around 11pm. House is located at the bottom of a small hill, could be a challenge for soneone with mobility issues. We'll look for a different place to stay next time. We had a great visit to Fredricksburg, but i didn't enjoy the location nor challenges that came with the house.
The house was perfect! A great place for us to relax. It was so convenient to everything!
We truly enjoyed our comfortable stay at Ufer House! The location was central to Main Street and other areas and easy to find. Although the house sits on Milam and Ufer Streets, we head absolutely NO street traffic. The house is clean and comfortable which is a priority. Although we did not use the outdoor space (August in TX is HOT), it was quite pretty, and I can imagine how nice it is when there’s rain and the creek is running. We saw 5 deer in the yard the morning of our departure. SO pretty!
We had a lovely stay. Very clean. Nice walk to downtown.
I brought my mom, mother in law, and sister in law to Fredericksburg for a girls weekend, and this was the perfect house for us! Location is prime and close proximity to everything we did that weekend! We walked to dinner at Hondos on Main Street our first night in town. 290 wine shuttle is also in walking distance to take you to the wineries. There is only one bathroom but mirrors in every room, so even with 4 girls we had plenty of space to get ready each day. We will definitely be staying again next time we visit! Such a refreshing home inside and out.
Great house and a great location for a quick family get away. Highly recommended.
The house was very clean and in a good location for our stay in Fredericksburg. We would all definitely recommend this home.
Lovely property with great location in the heart of Fredericksburg. Clean and well-maintained, well-equipped kitchen and bathroom, thoughtful amenities such as coffee-making supplies, space heaters, extra pillows and blankets, etc. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay!
We booked this cute little bungalow for a one night stay with the college gals. We’re now in our 40’a and are devoted to meeting up twice a year. This season we road tripped to Fredericksburg and enjoyed the trip, time with friends and our stay. The couch was comfy, the master bedroom bed left me well rested and even though though there were 5 of us, sharing one bathroom wasn’t too bad. Thank you for the cute decor, quick responses and fun little getaway.
Very good
Great property and great location! The property had everything we needed and more, and the host was very communicative. It was the perfect for a few friends to get together. The backyard is beautiful and has a fire pit, so bring your s’mores!
great night making memories at this adorable home
Great location. House was exactly as shown in photos. Cozy modern space inside with a lovely backyard which overlooks an open space and Barton Creek. We saw deer in the early evening and morning. Near all the restaurants and attractions of Main Street. Lauren was a great host. Very responsive and friendly. Highly recommend. Plan to stay again the next time we come to town.
Hosts were amazing. They responded to help us out with a recommendation for a last minute ride for the day; we really appreciated this. The backyard is by a busy road, but when the firepit is glowing and we are relaxing at the end of the day on the beautiful back porch, it was barely noticeable. It was walkable for downtown activities and reasonable 10-20 minute rides to outer 290 wineries and Luckenbach. Great stay for two couples.
The property was a perfect location and was well stocked. Beautiful little house beside the creek with deer. Thank you for our stay.
