Located just 10 minutes from Vail Village by the FREE bus (bus stop is at the end of the drive way!), or a 15 minute WALK to the Lionshead Gondola, restaurants and shops. This house is in the ideal location for those who don't want to deal with a long bus ride or the craziness/expensiveness of the Vail parking garages. Stay in our home and see the mountain from your deck! Our home is ready for you and your friends or family.

The house is perfect for entertaining! With its large, spacious kitchen that opens up to a warm, inviting dining room and family room on the main floor (with a gas fireplace, grand piano & smart TV) and a second family room on the second floor with a TV, there's a spot for everyone (perfect for big groups – giving a little privacy to all). There is also a den/sun room on the main floor (off the kitchen) with tons of games and toys for the kids.

The large kitchen has granite counter tops, stainless steel appliances and every cooking utensil and appliance you could need. We also keep coffee, spices and condiments stocked. A huge deck wraps around the house and offers views of the mountain from one side and a seven-person hot tub on the other. Our home has a large yard but also backs up to a great park. With a huge play area for kids and a sand volleyball court, it's fun for all ages. In the winter there is also a small sledding hill for the little ones.

The main master bedroom has a new king-size bed, fireplace, smart TV, private deck, jacuzzi tub, and steam sauna. The second master bedroom has a king-size bed and private full bathroom. The third and fourth bedrooms come with twin-size bunk beds and share a three quarter bath. There is also a secret loft space that houses two single beds. The kids love it! For additional guests, there is a queen-size sofa-bed in the den/sun-room.

THE HOME IS EQUIPPED WITH DSL INTERNET ACCESS.

Please note:

- This home does NOT have air conditioning, but we've never needed it. There are ample windows throughout the home to open during the summer. We also provide fans in each room should you want a little more airflow.
- There is a separate lock-off apartment below the home that is occupied full time, however the driveway is the only shared space. Our wonderful tenants are responsible for keeping the stairs shoveled for you and taking the garbage out, but otherwise will not disturb you during your stay.

    Despite being near I-70, the interior is quiet, clean and well laid-out with individual and communal spaces for our group of 6 adult friends. 2025 winter reviews of this house are accurate. In addition to the Safeway, there is a City Market (Kroger) even a bit closer just down the street. The house is showing some wear and tear, as would be expected of a popular rental property, but is still a great find. We would enjoy staying there again.

    Great house in a great location. Super easy access to the bus to Vail Village. And, if you have a vehicle, there's a garage! Really, no negative comments about this rental. Description on VRBO is accurate. Owner is great with fast response to messages.

    I stayed at this house for 5 nights with my adult children and their friends (25-30 years old), there was plenty of room for everyone, the location was perfect being on the purple Sandstone bus line with the Red Sandstone Road stop right outside the door every 20 to 30 minutes direct to Vail Village (not Lionshead). Olivia is wonderful and very helpful. The pullout couch is in the office off the kitchen and makes another great bedroom (without a door). The small couch and bean bag upstairs don't convert to beds but make a great lounge area. Safeway grocery store is a close by drive, and the walk to Lionshead is ok if it's not too cold and you aren't carrying skis, otherwise take the bus. The kitchen has everything you need, washer and dryer are great, and hot tub is wonderful. Overall a perfect place to stay, I would definitely rent this place again for my next ski trip.

    The house may look smaller via pictures online but the space really opens up as soon as you walk in the door. The bus stop is as close as it gets and provides fast and easy transport into Vail.

    This house had all that we needed. We had two families stay and there was plenty of room and all amenities you could ask for. The location was perfect with the ability to walk to Lionshead or easily take the Sandstone bus that stops at the end of the driveway to Vail Village. Olivia was super easy to work with and communicate with answering any questions and able to make accommodations if possible. We have stayed here the last two years and loved it.

    We (Denverites) and our friends from Chicago came to Vail for a 5 day trip with our kids (2 each ages 3-7) and could not have found a better place. 2 king beds for the adults and multiple bunk bed options for the kids were great. Amazing park next to the property and a bus stop right in front to get you anywhere uou want to go. The house was spacious and the kitchen was stocked. It was the perfect house for our needs. The host was very responsive.

    We had a great time. We stayed for 4 nights in mid July as a getaway from the south Texas heat. Location is good as there's a nice Safeway and other needed items down the street within a mile. Our kids enjoyed the park, the hot tub, and the very top floor fort. It was more space than we needed as it will actually sleep quite a few people. As a runner I loved the path along the I-70 feeder. Everything was smooth, the tenant was very nice and very responsive, and I highly recommend it! PS--I will miss the ice cold tap water! Ehh back to Texas..
