Loved the smell of the pine trees! Beautifully furnished, clean property.

I have stayed here with my family twice and have booked a third stay. It's an ideal set up for us, and the trees surrounding the house are gorgeous. It's a quick drive to the South Shore Park, and there is a nice long hike (or bike ride) to the North Shore Park. Dogs love it!

We had such a great stay here. The house is beautifully decorated and everything was spotless when we arrived—it felt really welcoming right away. The yard and surrounding lot were amazing and made it feel like we were tucked away in the middle of peaceful woods, even though we were less than an hour from Austin. It was the perfect mix of quiet and convenient.The hosts were incredibly kind and quick to respond anytime we had a question or needed anything, which made the whole experience even better. We felt really well taken care of.We’re already talking about coming back and hope to return many times!

Perfect house for our group.

I took my family here for a weekend getaway to celebrate my birthday and it was so much fun! The host was very kind and easy to communicate with. The house was exactly what the pictures showed. Super clean. Had everything we needed and wanted. The kids loved playing outside in the big open space. We loved the quietness of everything. We even had dinner outside on the patio one night. It was exactly what we were wanting! I would recommend this stay to anyone!

Comms with our host, Sara, were great and she was very welcoming. Loved the quiet environs and the clean and comfy house. Also - we loved the puzzles and games that were were available!

We had a wonderful stay. The house was clean and stocked with all the amenities we needed. The bedrooms comfortable and the location was perfect to enjoy the outdoors and still easily access town. My family really enjoyed the Foosball table and the board games. Thanks for a great weekend!

This is our second stay and we had another beautiful time. Sara was very helpful and responsive when we ran into a snag with the keyless entry. The house is very inviting and we loved the occasional deer visitors in the backyard at dusk. It is quiet and a great location to relax and rejuvenate after a day at COTA.

Spent a weekend in this exceptionally clean/bright, well-appointed house as part of a girls weekend during Round Top. The house was decorated in a sophisticated but relaxed way, and had more than everything for our needs! It was about 45 min over to the Round Top festivities, but being on the closer side of Austin (home) and near Bastrop for added restaurant options was excellent. We even made it over to the lake for a nice morning walk - literally just down the road. I would highly recommend this house for small adult groups or families that could really take advantage of the big back yard and pool, which we didn’t have time to use.

We stayed for a week. My mom, my son, and our little dog, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience! From the moment we arrived, everything was beyond our expectations. Our goal was to rest, relax, and reconnect with nature, and this home gave us exactly that and more.Sara, your home is absolutely stunning! The house is not only charming but also fully equipped with everything you could possibly need, which made our stay incredibly comfortable and stress-free.We especially loved the thoughtful details throughout the property and the way the space feels warm and welcoming. Every corner of the house reflects care and attention, making us feel right at home.The only thing I missed was my treadmill, but the spacious layout gave me plenty room to get my daily 10K steps in right at home …hahahahaThis place is a true gem for anyone looking to recharge, spend quality time with loved ones, and enjoy nature in a beautiful setting. We are leaving with wonderful memories and will definitely be looking forward to returning!!

The location of this VRBO was perfect for our family to meet while preparing for a nearby wedding. The host responded promptly about one issue we had. It was clean, beds comfortable, and quiet. It had all the provisions we needed. We would definitely stay again just to enjoy the country setting and state park.

We had a wonderful time at Sara’s home. It was well-appointed and beautifully decorated. We were traveling with 3 young kids so the bunk bed room was perfect for them, not to mention all the games/toys that were in there! The pool was also a big hit! Small touches like noise machines in every room and well-placed furniture really helped make our stay comfortable and seamless.

We absolutely loved this property! The pool was perfect for our kids as well as the bunk/game room. So much do in Bastrop and the helpful hints binder was great! Would definitely come back and recommend to others. The only thing we wished we had was an outdoor dining table and blinds for the back door in the bunk bed room. Thanks, again!

We had a wonderful stay at this cozy home in Bastrop! Everything was spotless and beautifully decorated, with all the amenities we needed for a comfortable getaway. The backyard was definitely a highlight — we enjoyed grilling, relaxing in the hammocks, and spending the evening around the fire pit. It was also great being so close to Bastrop State Park, which made for a perfect day of hiking and exploring.The host was responsive and made everything super easy. It was the ideal spot for a peaceful weekend with my (now) fiancé and our dog. We felt right at home and would absolutely recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing and well-equipped retreat!

Have stayed at many Vrbos, and this by far has been the best. For us it was location, location, and location. Closed to the lake, great eating establishments and stores. House is well designed for our type of vacation. A complete package deal and will for sure come back in a heartbeat when the time is right. The inside of the house was very clean, the outside (and deck)is messy because of pine trees and needles. The only reason I gave a three stars for accuracy of listing is it isn't an easy walk to the lake, the road is busy, it's narrow no walking path. The park is clean. little kids could not do it or a stroller

My brother, SIL and I stayed for 3 nights and I was amazed at all the little touches, they thought of everything. I really appreciated the homey touches that made it feel so welcoming. It was quiet and so close to the state parks where we hiked. The small town was charming. AND ... I probably had the best sleep all three nights that I've had in a long time!

Great stay! We were in town for a dance competition and was so great to have some extra room so close to town.

The house was beautiful, beds were comfortable and it was very peaceful! The weather was not great but we still had a great time playing games and listening to music. I would highly recommend this location and would definitely stay here again!

This house tucked in Bastrop park was a great spot for us to relax and unwind after a day full of people and activities. It was fun to see a handful of games available, too. Sara reached out to ensure all was well with our stay. We had a great stay.

The house was great and was a perfect location for our trip. It’s close to Austin and two hours to Houston and/or San Antonio. The house has everything you need and the hosts were great and responsive. I highly recommend this place.

The house was clean and comfortable, it had everything we needed for our stay. It was close to Bastrop but in a quiet neighborhood. We enjoyed visiting the lake and park down the road.

My mom, sister, and I stayed at Sara's home for a girls' weekend trip, and it was absolutely perfect. The home was immaculate and so inviting. The beds were comfortable, and the kitchen was very well stocked with all we needed for cooking breakfast and dinner. The location of the home may be the best part. It is nestled in the trees with great proximity to all the great things Bastrop has to offer. We loved it and would undoubtedly stay here again!

We only needed the house for one night for a quick trip. But it was great if what we needed.

Very clean Very spacious and open spaces ... Accurate description... BBQ was out of propane and pool was definitely too hot unless ur looking for a Jacuzzi 😜. But overall a very nice place to stay and enjoy Bastrop

I enjoyed the cloaenes of the walking trails. The permission to bring pups was great. I wish I would have had instructions to turn off the pool filter to clean out the leaf trap.

We really enjoyed the property, especially the cowboy pool and the large kids room. The kids loved it.
