Harwich Port, Massachusetts
Operated as a guest house for over 100 years, Harborwalk is available as a weekly rental. We rent from Sunday to Sunday, accommodating guests who attend weddings on Saturday. This updated 1880's Victorian home is known for the expansive front porch, where there is always a breeze from Wychmere Harbor. The first floor holds a large dining room seating 12, a handicapped accessible bedroom with a canopied queen sized bed and bath, and two parlors with lots of comfortable seating. The second floor has 5 bedrooms: Two have private baths, three bedrooms share a common bath. Two of the bedrooms have twins, one has bunkbeds, the other two are canopied queens. We provide the linens for you. A caretaker's apartment is located off the back of the house.
The location is ideal for one who wants to leave the car parked. Grab our beach chairs and cart and walk to the beach alongside Wychmere Harbor, the most-photographed harbor on Cape Cod.

Great location within walking distance to a small beach and downtown Harwichport - and best of all - The Sundae School! The house is big enough to fit 12 people comfortably. The beautiful wrap around front porch is amazing with two big picnic tables that could fit our whole crew! Nice lawn for playing corn hole! It would be nice if the house came with some lawn games (we brought our own) The house is old and not fancy but it has charm - the kitchen is small - definitely tricky to have more than a few people working in there at a time. Maggie was great! Very responsive and easy to work with.
Maggie is wonderful and responded immediately to our questions. The house is in a great location within walking distance to 2 public beaches. The covered porch is expansive and has picnic tables and comfortable chairs and the kitchen is well equipped. The house was immaculate!
We had a great stay, check-in and check-out was super easy. The house is in a great location to walk to town, ice cream and restaurants. Easy access to any of the Harwichport beaches.
My family and I really enjoyed our stay here - great location too!
This house was very spacious and clean. It also was in an excellent location - with walking distance to a beach and to the cute town of Harwich Port. House was built in 1888 but has all the modern amenities needed. Highly recommend!
Location was great for walking to the beach for morning swims. House was well stocked with everything we needed. The house itself was perfect and the yard was great for croquet.
We spent almost two weeks in the house with 3 children and 2 grandparents. The house is an older house in reasonably good condition - there were two “master bedrooms” with bathrooms which worked for us. Only the bedrooms have A/C and they worked well to keep those rooms cool. Fans were provided for the other rooms. The house is within walking distance to the Main Street and to the beach which was great. The owner was very accommodating and worked with us to adjust our reservation due to Hurricane Henri and our flights being cancelled twice.
Spent a week at this property in mid-August '21 with family and friends - the house was very spacious and an easy walk to downtown Harwichport and shopping, bars, and restaurants. A few things we really appreciated about our stay: (1) each bedroom had its own AC unit so those of us who like to sleep in a cold room could have that and others who appreciated the cool beach air at night could sleep with their windows open. (2) The host was easy to deal with and prompt to answer any questions we had. They also provided plenty of chairs and umbrellas for our use at the beach... and the use of the gas grill was a great amenity for when I was cooking for a crowd. (3) The kitchen was fully stocked with plates, bowls, cooking utensils and pots/pans - didn't have to look hard to find what we needed. Plenty of showers and room for everyone to spread out both inside and outside. (4) The house is an older home, which gives it a fun and unique charm - but it has most of the modern amenities that are expected in a beach/vacation rental. We all agreed we'd stay here again when we go back for another weeklong vacation.
From the gitgo the communication snd information was clear and accurate. Ms Stella was accommodating every step of booking, checking in snd out. I highly recommend this property.
This home is even larger than it appears. There was plenty of room for our family of 8 and plenty to spare. The host was very responsive and I would highly recommend this home for a stay on the cape with an extended family or even a group of families/couples.
