Melissa was so nice, she was great at communicating, and very accommodating, she is a great hostess.There were plenty of amenities. We packed so many things for this trip, being this was our first time renting a house for vacation ( it was completely unnecessary)! It was like being at home, we had everything we needed, and then some. The property is so spacious, plenty of bedrooms, a separate studio apartment, and a bunk house. We had plenty of towels, dishes, pots and pans.We really enjoyed the garage/ game room. My mom and dad are 84 and 81, they were playing shuffle board. My dad played pool with his grandkids. The fire pit was awesome. The lake is so close, and it was so PEACEFUL!!! We would love to rent this property again.

Great place to stay if you have a large group. We loved the outdoor space and the lake access was just a block away. Host communication was great! 5 star all around!

We booked this property for our company annual Striper fishing trip. We had 15 adults and everyone had a comfortable place to sleep all weekend. The outdoor entertainment area with a large firepit was our main socialization spot.Communication with our host was incredible, fast response when we had issues locating some items for the game room, and handled promptly. The area was quiet, close to the water front so we were able to go fishing any time we wanted.With such a large group, it is hard to find accommodations that fit us, and this property has been the best one we've found over the past 5 years.

We had a fantastic stay! Our group of 11 adults had more than enough space to spread out comfortably across the house, apartment, bunk house, and game room. We really appreciated having separate areas as it gave everyone the chance to retreat and relax when they needed some quiet time.Communication with the host was smooth and easy from start to finish, and we had zero issues during our stay.The game room quickly became our favorite hangout spot. We brought along folding tables and chairs knowing that we would end up playing cards and other games during our stay. There was plenty of space in the game room to set up two five foot folding tables with 6 chairs at each table. We stayed up way too late each night (or should I say morning), but the separate sleeping spaces made it easy for those who wanted to turn in early to do so without being disturbed.The dining area also worked perfectly for our group. The main table sat 8 adults comfortably. We then made use of the bar area for extra seating when needed.Overall, it was the perfect setup for a group trip, and we’d absolutely stay here again!

Our family comes to Kingston every year to fish. We always have a big group, with grandparents, grandchildren, aunts and uncles. This property had everything we needed. The kids spent hours in the game room playing pool and cornhole. The rooms were very accommodating with super comfortable beds. We loved the dinning room and outdoor table. Both were big enough for our large group to enjoy a meal or a game at. The lake is just minutes away from the house, and the neighbors were so kind. It is a great little community. This has been our favorite stay so far in Kingston. We appreciate the owners sharing this awesome property with our family.

Great place for family reunion

Love the remote location. Everything worked out the have my boys and their family there. Tried not to share the WiFi with the kids but the teenagers found and used it a lot. Kids played your games and watched movies. The walk down to the lake was short and easy. The surrounding area was very nice. Enjoyed visiting with the neighbors. Kids also enjoyed the game room. Thank you for letting us spend some much needed family time.

Beautiful large house offering many family activities. We had our family reunion here with folks coming all directions. Plenty of space all ten of us. The kitchen was fully stocked for us. We brought a turkey for thanksgiving in July. Cooked fish from our fishing trip. Used the griddle for pancakes. The house very clean. The only negative was the spotty WiFi and cell service…. to be expected in remote areas. We all recommend this home !

While we were on the property, there were a few hiccups, but Tim and Melissa handled them with such grace and calm. Overall, we as a group, felt this was one of our favorite family vacations in the last twenty-five years. We would all definitely stay at this property, or any property owned by Tim and Melissa. They are simply wonderful.

Overall we had a fantastic weekend at Lake Texhoma, this house was very nice - so much space, clean, and lots of amenities. Our teens loved the game room, bunk house, and the outdoor area. The posting says walking distance 0.3 miles to the water, while that is true, it’s really not walking distance and you can not see the water from this house. With kids and all the beach stuff needed down at the water, I’d not advise walking. In the kitchen, there are so many pots and pants, there were spices, sticks to make s’mores - a great variety of necessities so you don’t have to bring your own… though it would be nice if the sink had a garbage disposal. The king bed and bunk room beds were raved about, super comfy - however, the queen bed felt like we were sleeping on a gym mat. The squirrels are not afraid of people, maybe they get fed a lot but it was so cute that one walked up within arms length from us and we fed him a pancake. This squirrel took his pancake climbed up the tree and sat on a beach just eating away.

We enjoyed our stay. The property accommodated our large group very well. I would recommend.

Great place for multiple families and age ranges. Very quiet street and nice stroll to lake. All outside sitting areas are nice. The game room is a good place for entertainment. Loved the fire pit area under beautiful tall trees.

Everything was awesome here, only down fall is wifi and internet connection is really really bad! My wife was trying to work from her lap top and internet was horrible! Other then that good stay and property willBe back for sure

We recently stayed at Whispering Waves in Lake Texoma to celebrate my dad's 90th birthday, and it couldn't have been a more perfect setting for a family gathering! The camp-style property was a hit for everyone—from my dad and siblings to our spouses and kids. The rustic charm and open layout made it feel both cozy and adventurous, perfect for a group our size. The proximity to the water was a major highlight, offering beautiful views and easy access for fishing, swimming, and just relaxing by the shore. It was ideal for making memories together, and the whole family had an amazing time. We would definitely recommend it for anyone looking for a fun, family-friendly getaway by the lake!

Whispering Waves provided everything we needed to celebrate birthdays with friends and family. It’s located very close to a small beachy area by the boat ramp that turned into the proposal place for my daughter. There is plenty of space. The beds were comfortable. There is also plenty of entertainment at the house with the pool table, shuffleboard, corn hole and fire pit. We would definitely stay again.
