5 guys stayed here for a fishing trip. The house was very nice and fishing from the dock was great. We caught lots of sand trout every night. Would stay here again!

Property is right on the water. Enjoyed sitting on the deck watching the boats pass and sipping on coffee. All the essentials included with the house. Can’t wait to come back and stay again!

Best fish camp for the price with easy access to harbor and beach.

For me everything was good the place was clean, comfortable and very close to the beach. The only thing that I did not like was that we had to take the trash and find the dumpster I don’t know where. I was not able to find it because I’m not from that area so I had to bring it home with me.

We love this house so much ! The fishing pier is so awesome! We always catch so much !

We caught sheepshead, black drum, a flounder and a red fish! Both neighbors were awesome and we hope to come back again this Summer!

Perfect Stay except the windy weather

Wry nice property and location. Enjoyed all the amenities. The only negative aspect for my wife and I was the lack of showering capability. As we are both over 65, getting in and of the tub was very difficult. Other than that, we really enjoyed our stay.

Great little property on the river. Very clean and comfortable. Owner was great to deal with.

Was perfect for fishing and docking a boat in the back.

We spent Labor Day weekend at this beautiful home. The house was spotless and the ac worked great. Beds were very comfortable. Hostess responded to messages quickly. They have a large pier for fishing with a night light. The fish were practically jumping out of the water so our teenage boys could catch them. We will definitely try to stay here again on our next trip to Matagorda.

This place was very nice, very clean and perfect for both my husband’s and my checklist. We both love fishing and I enjoy beach combing. This place allows both, a private pier with lighting for night fishing and just a short drive to the beach. We are looking forward to visiting this place again!

We loved the location and the home. It accomodated our group perfectly!! It was so quiet and everyone we talked to were so friendly. We caught so much catfish and crabs! We love Matagorda and will definitely be back!!
