Wait and Sea! Amazing location!

We really loved our time here and would definitely stay again. Great location near the beach and the heated pool was awesome. Great communication by the property management company.

We had a great family vacation in Captiva! Lovely house and great location near the beach. We especially loved the enclosed patio and pool area. We spent every morning and evening out there around our beach time!

Miller time was everything we expected and more. Great location and great value.

I would rent through the local rental agency next time, not VRBO, with all their fees. This was our 2nd week on Captiva so we had the first house to compare this to. This house was the better of the two for sure! Good sized bedrooms, bathrooms and outdoor space. It was super clean and welcoming. We communicated directly with the owners only and they were wonderful. The house was well stocked as with COVID we cooked every meal in. I can’t think of much else we would have wanted except maybe 2 more lounge chairs around the pool (there were 2 and there were 6 of us.) The house in a perfect location. Wonderful week! We are always super happy with this home, and you cannot beat the location. Once you get your groceries, you really never have to drive anywhere again; everything is within walking distance!

I have stayed in this property many times. It is a great location, close to the beach and to at least 4 good restaurants in walking distance. I love the pool. The house is perfect. The kitchen has what you need. I do bring my own Keurig, but it has a coffee maker. I have stayed in 5 other houses on Captiva, but this is my favorite. I would only choose another if I had too many people.

On the positive side House is pleasant. Pool and deck area were very relaxing. Kitchen was nice with plenty of room and plenty of utensils. Bedrooms and bathrooms were as expected. Beach is only a two houses walk, very easy to get to. Excellent beach chairs provided. House decor is lovely. Check in, check out, linens, garbage etc, all worked like a charm. Easiest house I have ever rented in that respect. On the negative side Pool was a bit colder than we expected. TV selection was very hard to figure out, and changed from one room to the next. There were not many TV channels available, most were blocked. Beds were a bit soft. Lighting leaves something to be desired. All of the above would support a much higher review. But the worst part of the experience, and the reason that the score is so low, was the lawn crews. On one day, on three different occasions, people just emerged through the fence, in theory, working on the lawn (blowing, raking, watering). There ought to be some announcement, some scheduled time, etc. We had no idea that a crew would even be there at all, let alone 3 times on one day. Lucky we weren't chunky dunking at the time. We picked this house because of the privacy, it is screened from almost every angle. We would have been fine had there been a scheduled time for the crews to arrive, but to have them just appear through the gates and immediately into the pool area unannounced, is unacceptable. Most of the house windows face the pool and deck, and we preferred to leave the windows open for natural light as much as possible, but with workers in the yard, if one were changing clothes at the time, one would have been easily spotted by the workers. FYI, the VRBO website doesn't allow me to check the not really button next to the question did you love your stay?. Only option is I loved it. Please fire your programmers and hire some teenagers.
