Gorgeous property with everything you need. Felt so homely, amazing views, great location and so warm with fire going. Lovely walks to do around the lake and into town. Quiet location and great for a couple or a family to stay.

I booked this for staff working in Taupo. The host was good with comms ahead of the booking and the only downside was because parking was a bit limited which the host was clear about.I can't say beyond that how the accommodation was but if it hadn't been good, I certainly would have heard about it.

This is an absolutely charming home full of history and character. It is perfectly situated with astonishing views of the lake and mountains. It offers excellent access to hot pools, natural thermal lakefront springs, the botanical gardens and very lovely walk to supermarket or CBD. Definitely going back!
