Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We loved this home. Our large family of 4 kids and 2 adults fit very comfortably. The screened in porch was our favorite spot to relax in, with all the lush beautiful landscaping all around us. Quick drive to Tunnels and Lumahai beach.

Nice roomy home in secluded lot. Very comfortable. The location was not close to where VRBO shows walking distance from beach. House is located in area that requires driving to beach. A bit disappointing. That being said it is a fun, comfortable house.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We stayed in this home 20 years ago and it hasn't changed, which is good and bad. What we love the most is the location on the North Shore. It's close to Tunnels Beach, Ke'e Beach, and Hanalei Bay. The size of the home is perfect for our family of four. Beds are comfortable, but the King bed is on the soft side. We really appreciated the use of the beach chairs and beach towels. The property is beautifully landscaped and very private. What we struggled with the most with this house is the afternoon to evening heat. The house is on very tall beams and gets blasted by the sun, especially on the deck and master bedroom. There are a lot of fans but no A/C. We typically went out in the am and came back in the afternoon before we headed out to dinner but it was swelteringly hot in the home. We wanted to use the grill to cook, but it was too hot on the deck to imagine cooking on it. We tried to use the stove but one of the large burners did not work. The furniture suits the style of the house, but the kitchen chairs are falling apart. Despite loving the location, we won't be renting again due to the excessive heat.

We loved the location, the spaciousness of the house and property, fully-equipped kitchen, water crock, and lots of sliding glass doors for enjoying the breezes. We appreciated all the beach gear amenities. Walking to the Wainiha store and The Haven for coffee was so much fun! Our host was kind and responsive and we have been considering another visit next year to Wainiha Palms with our sons.

Mmy wife and two kids eight and 12 stayed in this magical house on stilts in the jungle. It's on the North Shore and though it is close to the road. It is definitely remote with all the screens closed and the windows open. You can hear the sounds of birds and bullfrogs and rain. this is the perfect place to retreat after days in the sun, watching TV eating ice cream playing board games. It has a beautiful lanai (screened in patio )for outdoor dinner and drinks. The only downside is that the beach across the road is barred from public access., We were told by local people that it is too dangerous to swim and it is Hawaiian land. Which means that if you want to swim in the ocean, you're going to need to get in a car no walking to the beach from this property.

Kauai Vacation Rentals did an excellent job. Their staff was always helpful and went above and beyond for us. They made this an amazing stay in beautiful Kauai. The house was very inviting, and the grounds were very beautiful.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We loved our stay. The rental was spacious and comfortable. Located far out on the north side. Feels like you are alone in your own little paradise. But everything you might need is not a far drive away.

Beautiful location, beautiful layout. Helpful to have laundry and kitchen on site. We realized we were booking a house in a remote area of Kauai. We actually welcome geckos on walls (they're cute, eat bugs, and make cool sounds). We would have preferred that their poop be cleaned off the walls regularly. The refrigerator seal was so badly broken that it was impossible to close the refrigerator 80% of the time (you had to tuck the seal in just right). My husband fixed it, but shouldn't have had to on his vacation. There was no address marker at all. Not on the road near the highway, not on the house. The house is rustic (which is fine!) but could also use a deep clean, especially the floors. Again, bugs and geckos are to be expected when you're smack in the jungle but it really seemed as if the house hadn't been deep cleaned (gecko poop all over bathroom, kitchen walls; tons of dirt/dust/grossness behind washer and dryer). To be fair, we did not inform the management company of the address/refrigerator issue until the day we left, but it was pretty clear that the refrigerator seal had been an ongoing issue as it had been glued (and failed) multiple times.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our third year in a row that we stayed here and this time we were there for 5 weeks. We really love this place - the house, garden, screened in lanai, privacy, and especially the location! We stayed in many places in Princeville previously but weren’t happy there. We hope to keep coming back here!
