Clean and cozy place fully stocked with coffee and treats. You can’t beat the location - only a few minutes walk from Carytown shops and restaurants and the museum district. There’s a private patio that we used to relax after a long day of sightseeing. Lynley is such a great host and was very responsive to any questions we had. She made the place very welcoming. We highly recommend this stay!

This was a lovely stay for our family with young kids. The owner was very kind and had snacks and even an Easter egg hunt for our kids! The check in process was very easy, the home was clean and had so much historic charm. The back deck area was very nice, and the property was in great to walk around and see carytown charm and quick drive to downtown. Highly recommend and will be back!

Host left snacks, fresh flowers and was extremely accommodating. I never saw the space myself but im happy my guests were happy and the wedding was a huge success!

Everything is as advertised in this pied-a-terre with So-Ho vibes. Conveniently located in the museum district, the apartment provided a cozy base for museum exploration, dining out, cooking in and quick trips into downtown Richmond. Lynley is a warm host who quickly resolved a minor issue upon our arrival. Highly recommend.

The host provides every thing you could possibly want: snacks, coffee, tea, juice, bread, condiments, treats, and even eggs during this time of extreme egg scarcity. Best of all is host’s immediate response to any question or request. Best bnb experience!

I'm such a huge fan of this property. Entry was simple, and the stairs opened up into a wonderful space. Two comfortable bedrooms, a cozy dining nook, nice living room, well-furnished kitchen, and exceptional bathroom. Every detail had been thought through and made perfect, from fresh flowers to snacks on the counter and drinks in the fridge. It was clear that the property owner had invested a lot of time in the decor and other touches to make the space feel like a home. My trip was on a rainy December so I stayed inside most of the time. I can't think of a place I'd rather sit comfortably, sipping a cup of tea and looking out at grey skies. When I did get out, it was to find plenty of restaurants and shopping only two blocks away. Although I did not make it to the VMFA, it was only two blocks away in the other direction. Truly a perfect gem of a stay. Thank you!

I'd have loved to stay longer. Quaint upstairs unit with inviting back deck, comfortable (and gorgeous) beds, and plenty of room to spread out/get some privacy after a day of family togetherness. :) Check-in was easy. The neighborhood is quiet -- though two blocks from the heart of Carytown -- and so close to VMFA with its gorgeous grounds and fun people-watching. Street parking was likewise easy. As we were moving our son into his dorm, we had lots of stuff in two cars, but never had a problem finding a spot right out front, and I didn't worry about break-ins, either. The kitchen was fully stocked -- and more -- as Lynley provided so many delicious treats, including high quality necessities like coffee, milk, and eggs. The place felt clean and fresh throughout; she obviously puts a lot of effort and thought into ensuring happy guests. I'll definitely try to stay here again whenever we travel without our dog. My only cautionary note: the unit is upstairs, and the stairs are somewhat narrow, so it wouldn't be suitable for guests with mobility challenges (or perhaps for newly mobile toddlers, either, though there is a delightful children's playroom at the front of the house).
