Vista Mar - a beachfront home in Redington Beach

Great location and beautiful views! Excellent communication with the host - very quick response to any questions or requests. Spacious accommodations, but cozy feel to it. Will definitely visit again!

We had my older dad with us and he wanted to stay somewhere with easy beach access. It was perfect for that. We could walk a short distance and have our toes in the water. We had a couple hiccups in our stay, but management was helpful to get it resolved. I will say, that if you pay to heat the pool/spa, there is a schedule that only allows them to be heated for short increments. We had a lot of trouble with the spa heat and it required a lot of coorespondence/problem-solving on our part. We spent a disappointing amount of time with a cold spa. The house was clean and maintained, but the kitchen was poorly stocked with things -- there were NO mixing bowls (none!), not a single rubber spatula, not a single turner (for flipping pancakes or eggs), not a single cooking sheet (we had to use a roasting sheet) and only one 9x13 pan. So, we struggled making food at the house. The grill was nice and functional and it was nice to have a counter-top ice maker. The washer and dryer worked great as well and we appreciated having a dishwasher. It was also nice having shampoo/conditioner/body wash in dispensers in the showers. The location was nice for having a super Wal-mart 10 minutes away.

We had a wonderful stay at the Vista Mar property for the holidays. The view is beautiful and the house was spotless. And best of all the management company was top rate with great communication to make sure our trip was perfect and it was. I has a lovely balance of all the amenities you need and still plenty of room for all your stuff.

This was my retirement vacation. We had 2 other couples join us and it could not have been better. The home was perfect. And, to wake up and be able to walk out onto the beach for our morning walks was amazing. After sitting in the sun and watching the dolphin, it was great to be able to walk up from the beach and relax in the pool as well. The home is close to restaurants and shopping so that was a plus. Communication with the rental staff was great. And if we needed anything, they were just a call away. It was one of my best vacations!

Great location and the house was nice and clean. Beach chairs were rusty and house did not provide any plastic cups to use on the patio and around the pool. We had to buy our own.

You just can't beat the view and the beach access!! House was very clean, beds were comfortable, and the property manager was very friendly and helpful. Could use a few updates, otherwise a great house. If we ever decide to travel back to Redington we would love to stay here again!

This was our first time booking through a site other than vrbo/Airbnb so we were a bit nervous when we didn't receive check in directions until a couple of hours before arrival. You have to call/text the house manager for updates and check in procedures. The property was lovely but close to public beach access so many people were situated right in the backyard view.

Every dish, cooking utensil and pot or pan we pulled out was filthy and we had to wash it first. The tub didnt't plug up. The ice maker in the refrigerator was broken and the ice maker on the counter top was also not working. The ceiling fans on both the upper deck and lower patio are grossly rusted and squeaking, 2 of which don't work at all. The patio furniture is unusable as I fell out of a chair twice due to instability of the wicker. The dryer won't dry. I have severe asthma that was in a flare the whole time we were there. When I contacted the property manager to address the issues, I was given kind of a brush off as she showed up the day before, unannounced mind you, and talked to our kids who told her everything was great. We didn't talk to our kids about the issues with the home...why would we? So I was asked why nobody said anything about it the day before. Fast forward, we were told someone could come to clean the vent and repair the other items or we could leave in the morning by 10 a.m. with a refund for the remaining 3 nights since we would have had to stay 1 more night. Trying to move 5 adults and 5 children on a whim was not something we were prepared for so we stayed. I requested for air purifiers which they complied with. But the other items were NOT fixed. The vent was wiped off with a rag. A rubber plug was bought for the tub which still drained. 3 fans were replaced after I left. We spent money for ice each day. Additionally, we couldn't use the yard at all. It is full of prickly stickers everywhere. Make sure to bring water shoes or always where shoes when walking in the yard. I would never ever recommend this property or property management company again. It RUINED my vacation and I just wanted the company to move us to another property or fix the issues. I'm heartbroken. This was to celebrate my brother after he took his life. He was a surfer and this place is special to us.

We had an unforeseen property maintenance issue delay our move in, however, Beach Time rentals worked to get us into another temporary location and then into our booking as soon as possible.
