The Laughing Whale was the perfect beachy cottage for our Myrtle Beach vacation. Mary and Scott have thought of everything. The house was fully stocked with everything we needed for our lazy days in as well as everything needed for the beach. The beach wagons and towels were super helpful and one less thing that needed to be packed. We would definitely return.

We had another great stay at this beach house rental! This was our second year, and we couldn't be happier with our experience. The hosts truly go above and beyond to ensure that guests have everything they need for a perfect beach getaway. From beach chairs and umbrellas to toys for the kids, they provided all the essentials, making our days by the shore incredibly enjoyable. The house itself is cozy, well-maintained, and just a short walk from the beach, which is a huge plus. We loved the relaxing atmosphere. Thank you for another wonderful vacation; we can’t wait to come back next year! Highly recommend this gem to anyone looking for a beach escape!

We have visited before so this wasnt our first stay here. It was as perfect now as it was 2 years ago. Clean upon arrival, simple check in, owners go the extra mile with amenities and making you feel welcome. This rental is the most bang for your buck. Pack light- it has everything you need.

Wonderful experience! Everything was there and available for us to use. From wagons, extra beach towels, umbrellas (thank goodness , since we didnt know we couldnt use our tent.) We also loved the outdoor shower. The short walk to the beach was so nice too. The whole family loved it and want to stay there again. Thank you for a wonderful place to stay to have a family vacation!

Everything was as advertised for this property and then some. The dual set up was perfect for a getaway with friends and our kids. Conveniently located neighborhood, accessible to the beach and local attractions, we wanted for nothing. Most of all, the small personal touches welcoming our crew went above and beyond. The owners were so responsive and attentive and nothing short of amazing. Would visit again in a heartbeat - probably the best rental experience I have ever had.

At first i was dubious as to how this property was able to get so many consistent 4+ star reviews. But after staying there I have no lingering doubts! The property and the hosts were top notch! Clean, well located and close everything you may need.Great communication with the owners too.!

Wow!!! We are thrilled with our stay at the Laughing Whale Cottage. We came with 3 other couples, and everything about our stay was perfect. First of all, it was incredibly clean. If you are a clean freak like me, look no further - this place was spotless! At one point we misplaced our keys and were looking everywhere - under beds, in couch cushions, etc - and even looking in all those places, everything was impeccably clean. The house was very well stocked, with very nice/thick towels and beach towels, a beach wagon, beach chairs, etc - all of which were in great condition. The layout of the house was perfect for the 4 couples, and the beds were very comfortable. Communication was excellent - Mary and Scott replied promptly every time I reached out and were very helpful. This is one of the best rentals I've ever stayed in, and I come to the beach often. Our whole group loved it and commented that Mary and Scott had thought of everything. Highly recommend!!!

My family and I loved our stay here. The property was very clean and within walking distance to the beach! They supplied and grill and the back patio furniture was in great shape! I highly recommended this property and I look forward to coming back next year!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this fantastic beach cottage. The host/owners, Scott and Mary are easy to get in touch with and very accommodating. They had such lovely personal touches upon arrival… Complete with a personalized welcome sign and some delicious treats as well as an adorable Complete with an adorable gift for our infant granddaughter. The cottage was super clean. My daughters in-laws kept commenting on how every detail was taken care of and it was decorated beautifully. We would definitely consider staying here and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a wonderful place to stay for any beach trip to North Myrtle Beach.

We absolutely enjoyed everything about our stay at Laughing Whale! I can't say enough about the attention to detail that Scott and Mary offer. Their description of the property was accurate - clean, comfortable and very close to the beach. The kitchen is well stocked with dishes and cookware to prepare meals and relax at the house. The front porches were nice and the atmosphere on the back porch was phenomenal - love the lighting! The outdoor shower and shell washing station were awesome. The provision of chairs, wagons and sand toys was very helpful and the age appropriate welcome snacks were fun. I love that even though the neighbors are close in proximity there was plenty of privacy. Every day of our stay we would would find something new that confirmed our choice to stay at this property was the best choice. Thank you Scott and Mary for everything. You truly are ????? hosts!
