We love the Laughing Whale Cottage and will definitely stay here again. It was perfect for a weekend getaway to the beach. We really enjoyed the shell cleaning station and the containers provided.

We had a great time again at the Laughing Whale cottage. The cottage is always spotlessly clean. We really appreciate the food and drinks they leave for us. This was our fifth stay and we will definitely be back.

This was such a wonderful place! We went for a girls weekend getaway! Place was clean and we were welcomed with a sweet sign as we entered as well as treats and drinks in frig! The host was great!! Had everything there you could possibly need for the beach and was within waking distance! Will definitely be staying here again!

Amazing beach cottage! Exceptionally clean, well maintained and adorably decorated. Conveniently located within steps from the beach and in close proximity to a multitude of restaurants and shops. Owners were extremely helpful and friendly. They’ve thought of everything you would need to enjoy your beach vacation and so much more. Can’t wait to return in 2026!!!

Another great stay. Scott and Mary posted a “Welcome Back, Alex and Janice” sign and left us a huge tray of cookies that we enjoyed all week! The whole place was clean, inside and out, and many amenities like drinks, water, coffee and creamer, and many other things were provided for us. Great hosts!

To say this home-away-from-home is a delight is an understatement. It is comfortable, welcoming, extremely clean, easy walk to beach, has all the comforts and conveniences one expects and then some. Hosts were very quick to respond to questions. King bed was very comfortable. They want their guests to not only enjoy their stay, but to come back. Extremely satisfied customer.

All details on the property are well thought out and artistic as well. Personalized welcome with clear instructions/rules. We felt very welcome. The hosts are reachable and very quick to respond and offer help. The location is wonderful. This will remain on our visit again list.

This property is amazing. The owners are so thoughtful. They have the best location. Everything was wonderful, from the smell of the linens (i want to know what detergent they use) to everything they offer for use while there. If you get the opportunity to stay here, you will LOVE it.

The laughing whale cottage is nothing short of beautiful. Mary and Scott are incredibly accommodating and make sure you have everything there for your stay! From the cleanliness to the high quality beach chairs our family stays here every time we can. We call it our little beach house. Highly recommend to anyone for a getaway.

We had a great stay at the cottage, it was peaceful and quiet. It was great not having to worry about parking in a parking garage and hauling all your stuff up an elevator. The interior of the cottage was very nice. It was almost hard to believe that it was a rental because it was so nice. We really enjoyed that the cottage had a stocked kitchen, outdoor shower, beach chairs, umbrella, ladder ball, washer/dryer, welcome snacks, bath towels (so soft)/beach towels, and outdoor shower. It was great not having to pack all that extra stuff. We look forward to staying again in the future.

This cottage was perfect for our family vacation! It is close enough to walk to the beach while also being a street over from all of the traffic and noise. The house was very clean and beds were comfy for everyone. Properly managers were wonderful with communication and making sure everything was what we were expecting and needing. We will definitely be back!

This was our second stay at the Laughing Whale Cottage, and we definitely plan to go back. The cottage is pristine, the location is great, and the owners are some of the most thoughtful people I’ve ever met. They went over and above in anticipating every conceivable thing we could need. This charming beach cottage was perfectly set up with one thing in mind: Relax and enjoy. Mary and Scott are the best hosts. They thought of everything to make our family’s stay easy, fun, and comfortable from the welcoming aesthetic, sweet treats and cold drinks ready for the kids as soon as we arrived, to having ALL supplies available that we could need. The entire cottage was super clean and had comfortable beds and linens. All beach gear was available which helped save space not having to pack and bring our own. It was great being just a short walk to the beach and having a grill to bbq. Everything they had provided made us feel like we were staying with family and friends. Thank you Mary and Scott for making it feel like home.

Upon arriving our host was accommodating and informative. The home was so welcoming and provided everything we needed and more. The hosts make each family feel special and customize the experience for each family. We were so sad to leave but will do all we can to book this rental in the future!

We love this cottage! We've visited several times and always enjoy our stay. Its about total relaxation and this is it. Scott and Mary are fabulous owners! We'll be back!
