Current plantings and dates include:
Pommard West Block- planted Originally planted 1982, replanted 2007
Tempranillo block- planted June 2003
Dijon 115 Block- grafted June 2006
Pommard East Block- originally planted 1988, replanted majority in 2012
Would be good to note that TV is not hooked up to cable and that guest need their own Netflix or other accounts to watch TV. Not sure if the lady bugs are common there, but for my likeness there were to many hanging out over my head when I was in bed. Great area to check out all the wineries, just a little to rustic for me.
This little room over the barn was perfect for my Thanksgiving getaway. It was clean and had everything I needed. The surrounding scenery was beautiful.
Stay was exactly as advertised. Clean property, and the space had all the amenities you'd need for an even longer stay. Awesome view of the vineyards and valley as well ?
This is the second time I've stayed, so that should tell you something. Great place and very nice and accommodating host.
Host was helpful and the place was beautiful and peaceful.
This little barn was everything one could imagine. The view is spectacular. I sat outside in the mornings as the sun came up listening to the birds while drinking my coffee. It is the perfect distance from both McMinnville and Salem. The room is very clean and comfortable. Angela was very helpful and I would definitely recommend staying here or at any of the Salem Stays properties.
Really great place. Clean and comfortable. View is amazing!
Our experience was great from beginning to end. Booking was quick and easy, the barn was beautiful and the views were spectacular.
great home and location for touring local vineyards
The place is super cute. We didn't end up staying because it wasn't clean and we found what we think to be bed bugs on the sheets. They looked like tiny black flecks, I thought it was link, but my husband took a picture and blew it up and the link had legs and ears. His iphone has a really good camera, I guess. When I tied to blow it up on my phone it looked like a blurry ball. My husband said the towel in the bathroom was left from the last guest. I am not sure, it was questionable. The refrigerator was full of the food from the last guest, such has half container of yogurt, partially consumed juice, and etc... When we went to throw out their food we found a broken egg in the door of the refrigerator behind the yogurt. All the glasses were dirty, too, even though the property manager said that it was deep cleaned after the last guest. At this point we weren't sure if the place was actually cleaned after the last guest so we were prompted to check the sheets because of this to make sure they were clean. That's when we saw what we think are bugs, so we had to leave. The property manager offered to bring us new sheets, but we didn't want to risk it, not knowing where these bugs were coming from. She gave us a partial refund for the stay. She withheld about 20%. I guess I'm happy to pay the 20% to avoid the bed bugs. It was a bummer.
We really enjoyed everything about our stay at this property. The location was great. Many wineries within minutes of the property. It was quiet, clean, and just like the pictures show. The owner supplied us with beach gear for the day they knew we were headed to the coast, which was really nice. It was about 15 minutes to Salem, 30 to McMinnville. Would stay again.
The rental is in a vineyard. It is clean, quiet area, country side. It really depends what one is looking for. We appreciated experiencing a different type of stay. Communication with the owner was excellent. I recommend!
We had a fantastic time! The place was clean and tidy. Lovely location close to several vineyards! Would recommend to anyone looking to get away for a quick romantic getaway.
We loved our stay at this second story barn converted to studio! Cute modern updates with views looking out on to the farm, right in the middle of wine country. Private, quiet and clean. The only downside was there is no stove, but the hot plate worked for our short stay. Perfect for a couples getaway, we would definitely stay again!
This cozy place was clean, comfortable, and well appointed...all in a beautiful vineyard setting! The manager gave great entry instructions and responded quickly to our questions. We will definitely be back!
