Stayed Dec 31, 1969We had researched several apartments along the Amalfi Coast but as soon as we walked into Villa Sirana we knew that we had made the right choice. On 2 levels, with a large double bedroom on each level and a small but adequate kitchen with a small dining area on the lower level, it had everything we needed and more. Both bedrooms have large double beds; one also has a single bed and the other a sofa-bed. There is also a washing machine and an iron and board and parking for a small car. The only thing missing is an indoor sitting area but my guess is that as long as it’s not raining any socialising would be done outdoors on one of the terraces overlooking the sea (where there’s plenty of garden furniture). There is even a garden, also on 2 levels with flowers, fruit and vegetables and Signora Margherita (our charming hostess) told us to use whatever we liked from the garden (we ate some of the aubergines, tomatoes, chillies and herbs and a couple of lemons; the figs had just finished when we got there). Signora Margherita is such a lovely, warm and welcoming lady; nothing was too much trouble for her and even though she is an elderly lady she was up and down those stairs like a mountain goat! We were staying for 10 nights and she insisted on coming in herself to change our bedding half way through (although I could easily have done it myself, there being lots of spare sheet and towels). I should say here that the bed was very large and very comfortable with good quality sheets (sounds silly, but I do like nice sheets that are big enough for the bed, which these were). She also personally came to collect any food waste daily (she would collect it from the bins in the garden without disturbing us). Also she sent her staff to do any little tasks that she couldn’t manage (like to change a light bulb). She even gave us a gift of a very nice bottle of wine, arranged the access to a nearby hotel’s heated pool and a discount for eating in a nearby hotel's restaurant when I couldn’t be bothered to cook. She made recommendations on what to visit, bus times, etc and helped to make any bookings that we wanted. Of course we did go out and about visiting other villages along the coast and to Pompeii and Herculaneum, but the villa was somehow spacious and cosy at the same time so we were equally happy to spend a couple of days just relaxing “at home” which I think worried our hostess (she was afraid we might not be enjoying ourselves). All in all, Signora Margherita co

Stayed Dec 31, 1969We stayed at Villa Sirana in April 2019, it is wonderful! The best part of this villa is the quiet location and the beautiful view from the outdoor terraces. The unit was great, Wi-Fi worked perfectly, and everything was fine. The villa has wonderful outdoor living spaces. Having a bedroom and bath on separate floors gave us just enough private time so we weren't bumping into each other, but we enjoyed the outdoor areas together. It was very helpful having a full kitchen and a clothes washer! We loved it. The owner (Margherita) was available and very accommodating. I have booked with Summer In Italy before and would continue to as I plan to come back.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969Our month in Italy and Villa Sirana went too fast. We enjoyed everyday and most of all we cannot say enough of the villa's wonderful owner, Margherita. The views were outstanding and the grape vines, lemon and fig trees, vegetables and spices were there for our picking. We totally enjoyed sitting out under the pergola enjoying the view and drinking the great Italian wines. The villa was immaculate and fairly well equipped. If we didn't find what we needed, Margherita made sure she brought it over. The best part was that there are not many steps to the first floor entry. The only drawback that we had was that there was no common living room area. The bedrooms were large with a table and two chairs, but socializing happened outside under the pergola on either of two terraces. I cannot say enough about Margherita. She is wonderful and so caring about making guests happy and comfortable. Due to flight delays, we arrived into the evening and there was Margherita with her big smile waiting for us to explain everything we had to know about our new surroundings. She is a gem and always looked forward to her visits. This is the second time we have used your company to rent on the Amalfi Coast and it was again a delightful experience. You were prompt with any issues or questions we might have had and very helpful with giving us guidance with airport pick up and sightseeing. I have recommended you to other friends and will continue to do so. We will be back!!

Stayed Dec 31, 1969My two week stay in Villa Sirana at the end of May and into early June was a true delight. There are many things to love about this house. Here are a few highlights: 1) The terraced garden with places to sit and admire the sea. 2) The breeze off the sea rolling into the two lovely bedrooms. 3) The local bus stop at the steps above the house. 4) The accessibility to Praiano. (This town is especially well-suited for those who love to walk and are not daunted by serious steps all over town. It's a vertical place!) 5) Good restaurants within walking distance. 6) The kindness of Margherita in making sure I was comfortable and checking in right when I needed her to. This is overall a quieter place, so excellent for writing, reading, and collecting your thoughts after an intense day of sightseeing, hiking, or working. My husband and I savored every minute we could during the time he could join me! Summer In Italy is the best vacation rental service I have ever worked with. Thank you!

Stayed Dec 31, 1969We loved it! Villa Sirana is a great location, right next to the bus stop to take you into Positano (you can buy your tickets from the reception of the nearby hotel, which is so convenient). All in all a really lovely place to stay and really feel like you get to take in the views, culture and wonderful people of the Amalfi Coast. Also, this house has fewer stairs than probably any other you'll find. It was an amazing stay. Then there's Margherita herself - what a charming woman! She owns the villa and looked after us very well. Thank you!

Stayed Dec 31, 1969Villa Sirana is a fantastic property in beautiful Praiano. A huge added bonus is the car parking space which will fit two small cars if needed. The owner Margherita is a wonderful lady and is there if you ever need her. Summer In Italy were fantastic, always on hand to answer questions and give advice. Would 100% recommend and use again.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969We absolutely loved our time at Villa Sirana. The house is lovely and traditional. Very spacious and well equipped, also very clean. We woke with breathtaking views from the terraces, surrounded by lemon trees. We were told to help ourselves to the garden produce which we did willingly (tomatoes, aubergines, figs, basil). Would definitely return. We were greeted by the owner late in the evening (due to a flight delay), she is a lovely lady and showed us round the house and grounds thoroughly. We were very hungry and she took us over the road to Hotel Margherita and organised some food for us.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969We had the most beautiful and memorable stay. A great set up for our family of 5. Surrounded by lemons, basil, tomatoes, privacy and the Mediterranean - we lived the dream. We will definitely return. We loved Villa Sirana and were sad to leave. We will be back, don't forget us! We were so impressed with Summer In Italy service and information. Great job, thanks.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969Villa Sirana is way better than described. I would recommend this to anyone, but also would like to keep it to ourselves. The views are amazing and it is so peaceful. The lemon and fig trees were amazing, fresh figs for breakfast and plenty of lemons for Gin and Tonic. Also picked the grapes for lunch etc. We were very impressed with Villa Sirana and of course Margherita [the owner], who is a star. Nothing was too much trouble. Couple of small problems, but they where dealt with in a timely manner. Thank you Margherita for looking after us and making our stay stress free. We found Summer In Italy to be very professional and kept us informed at every step. The transfer taxi they recommended was very good.
