VILLA LILAC Comfortable Luxury House, wide Water Views, Gulf Access, Pool & Spa

The rental was beautiful but the lanai with the pool and hot tub was just for a photo op. We tried several times to correct the problem through the manager (who was very cooperative) but it was never rectified and this put an extreme negative on our visit. The owner blamed the lack of heating on the weather but the system did not work the first two days when it was 78 and 80. The owner was dismissive and insulting to us not believing that we had been told by the manager and the pool guy that the entire system did not function after 5PM. She did give us a 10% refund which was woefully inadequate for what we lost by not having use of two major amenities. We will not rent again.

Lovely location and house.

Everything was as advertised. House was clean,well decorated and convenient to everything. We really enjoyed the pool and outdoor spaces. W

The home is well equipped, clean and comfortable. The property manager was prompt to respond to any questions. Tastefully decorated. Plenty of supplies for cooking, going to the beach. Beautiful pool, plenty of chairs and pool toys. We will definately go back!

Nice house, good location. Only thing that we dident like was a lots of buggs in the pool everyday. We will absolutely rent this house again.

What an incredible holiday! This home is even better than the pictures. Incredibly clean and impossibly beautiful. Within 5min of arriving we saw a manatee in the canal than that evening we saw an alligator and even dolphins one morning. The neighborhood is so clean and quiet and there's even burrowing owls living up the street! The pool and hot tub were fantastic. Our family had an incredibly relaxing and enjoyable stay. Publix is 5min away and easy access to Fort Myers and Sanibel Island. Already looking to rebook in 2023. Thank you for hosting such a beautiful property

We had a great time at this property and enjoyed the heated hot tub and pool the most! It was very convenient to have a bathroom right off the pool area so we didn’t get the floors wet in the main living area. It had everything we needed with the exception of laundry detergent. We were supposed to wash towels before we left; however, we had to purchase laundry detergent anyway because we like to wash our clothes before we leave. I didn’t notify the property manager for this reason and left the remaining detergent there for the next guests to use. If I would have notified the property manager, I’m sure she would have sent us some. When we tried to use the blender, it didn’t turn on even though we tried different outlets. We notified the property manager and a new one was shipped to us! When we arrived, the manager offered to meet us at the house to go over the use of the home. We declined because we were leaving, but I suggest having her come. I’m a visual learner and although the book had pictures with instructions on use of the pool and hot tub, it would have eliminated some unnecessary communication to the property manager. The only downside of our stay was the full garbage can when we arrived and remained full during our 7 day stay (it was picked up on the day we left). We had birds eating it and it was strewn in the neighbors yards later in the week (we did pick it up). We contacted the property manager about this, and she notified the city; the city was going to pick it up but they never came. We asked a friendly neighbor and pick up is on Mondays. The manager had told us it changes so she wasn’t sure. The book and online check in had 2 different days. The garbage was on the curb on Monday when we arrived but I’m assuming it was put out later than pick up time. We did store the garbage bags we filled in the garage so we didn’t add any more to the bin so the garage did get stinky. However, the manager tried to fix this so with all things said, if there is an issue at all, they are responsive and will try to fix any issues that come up! So, yes, I would book again!
