Villa dei Desideri

We enjoyed our time at this lovely bright home. The pool provided great tranquilly and refreshment on hot days after touring. The distant view of the sea also lovely. Beaches are a very short drive or little longer walk. It’s a good space for small family. Note there is no indoor living room space but with the great climate we preferred sitting outside as much as possible anyway. Comfortable mattresses. Friendly owner.

The villa is very attractive in lovely grounds with a great pool and stunning views of the sea. It is very small (no indoor lounge) but has everything you could need for a great holiday - very well equipped, comfortable beds, washing machine, bbq and lots of parking.

Overall the house and stay in Marina di Pescoluse was fantastic. Checking in procedure worked well. The owner met up by the house on the agreed time. The house is clean and simple with the basics you need for a summer stay. For the crinkled shirts, the iron was good, an ironing board would have been even better. The pool was great, and necessary given the high temperatures in July. It was cleaned by the owners a couple of times during our one week stay. Walking to the beach takes around 20 minutes. The water is amazing but beaches are very crowded.

The location is great and very quiet. The beach, supermarket and restaurants can be reached on foot. Minor Problems at the house was immediately fixed by the nice and helpful host Maurizio. Even when I mishandled the stove, Maurizio came right away and fixed it.

Lovely property in good location. Great and friendly hosts. Just a few points for improvement. The property lacked any local information regarding bars/ restaurants etc but host was great in helping with that information when asked. Property needs repair of perimeter privacy fencing ( as described in the description) as there is a lack of this. Possibly a kettle as we resorted to boiling water in a saucepan as only a coffee machine available. Apart from those few things we had a great stay.
