THE VILLA:
Clementina is a charming country Villa located in Prazeres (Calheta), combining quiet rural surroundings with superb views over the sea. Its elevated location over the oceanic cliffs and high sun exposure in one of the warmest places of Madeira, provides pleasant temperatures all year around.

Surrounded by natural landscapes and uninterrupted views of the Atlantic coastline, this charming Villa boasts a rustic-modern décor, premium finishes and an intimate setting with total privacy, ideal for holidays in family or in group who want to visit and explore the best of Madeira island. Dining on the outdoor terrace, enjoying the sunset from the upper lounge or swimming in its infinity heated pool while enjoying the surrounding natural scenery will be unforgettable experiences.

Villa Clementina is part of SOUL Madeira - charming villas collection and is an old house that has been fully restored and prepared with affection for tourism. Rustic features were well kept and it position over the cliffs and ocean was harnessed in the best way.

Located in Prazeres, the Villa is few minutes drive from Jardim do Mar, Calheta, Paúl do Mar, Rabaçal and other island attractions. Here you can enjoy one of the island's unique sandy beaches, wonderful sunsets, a rich seafood / fish cuisine, trekking through the surrounding valleys, mountain biking, activities for kids, as well as a wide diversity of water sports (sport fishing, surfing, diving, sailing, water skiing, etc.). This part of the island also has several good restaurants, bars, supermarkets and other facilities, and is well connected with the rest of the island by modern highways, allowing reach Funchal in less than 35 minutes, the airport in 45 minutes and the north coast in 30 minutes.

INSIDE:

3 suites with sea view and independent access to the outside area: 1 on the ground floor and 2 on the upper floor.

The connection between the 2 floors is done independently through external stairs.

The panoramic kitchen, is modern and is fully equipped, including with a complete laundry.

1 extra bed for a child and 1 baby cot are available.

OUTSIDE:

The terraces and gardens are south facing, with excellent sun exposure, spacious and with panoramic views over the surrounding mountains and ocean.

In addition to the excellent sun exposure, the main terrace has a heated infinity pool (24h access) with external hot water shower and an outdoor dining area. Heated pool service has a 20 Euros/day additional charge.

The rooftop terrace is an ideal lounge area for relaxing and enjoying the sunset while sipping a fine Madeira wine.

The Villa offers several sun loungers, hammocks, chairs, etc. to relax and enjoy the best of your holiday.

AT GUESTS' DISPOSAL:
As a courtesy, Villa Clementina offers you a small welcome basket with some products and a regional wine.

All linen and towels are provided, including pool towels.

For stays longer than one week, an intermediate cleaning is provided free of charge for each week.

All children are welcome. The house is ready to receive them and we have a baby crib and a baby chair available (upon prior consultation).

Wi-Fi connection in every places of the house, sound speakers for Iphone / MP3 / Bluetooth, TV, hair dryer, coffee / tea maker, oven, dishwasher, washing machine, gin glasses, wine, etc., will be available for guests' use.

The Villa is equipped with first aid kit, extinguishers and fire blanket, as required by law.

Heated Pool:
* Heating service is an optional extra that will have a 20 €/day additional cost to cover electricity expenses (26ºC).
** We kindly ask guests to confirm us up to one week before checking in, so that the pool has the right temperature upon your arrival.
*** This service is valid for the entire stay.

The guidebook has been highly praised by guests and offers information’s on local experiences that a regular tourist guidebook usually does not offer.

The Villa operates under self-catering modus but we are always available to provide information’s, tips or support on any questions that you may have, via mobile phone or email.

MOVE AROUND:
Located in Prazeres, the Villa is few minutes drive from Jardim do Mar, Calheta, Paúl do Mar, Rabaçal and other attractions of the island. This area is well connected with the rest of the island by modern highways, allowing reach Funchal in less than 35 minutes, the airport in 45 minutes and the north coast in 30 minutes.

Prazeres village has limited public transportation, so renting a car is recommended to get to best know the island (see our exclusive guidebook).

It’s also recommended you to go down to Jardim do Mar on a trail ride through the Vereda do Jardim Mar - PR20 (check trail and weather conditions previously).
