View from the Top - 4 Bikes, Golf Cart, Views!

This house was everything and more! It was very clean, spacious, and in the most amazing location. When we weren't buzzing around town on the golf cart, we were enjoying sun on the rooftop deck, or having a cocktail by the fire. The beds were comfy, the kitchen had everything we needed, and the neighbors were so friendly. We come to 30A a few times a year and this was hands-down the best house we've rented! We will definitely be back!

Arrived at 4, property was not ready. Both maintenance and cleaning crew still present. Called contact number and spoke to a rep that apologized and quickly offered a small discount on the cleaning fee. We returned at 530. Staff was gone but house was not clean. A large glass decoration above the master bath was broken in the bath tub with broken pieces everywhere. Many rooms were not vacuumed and linens thrown in the closets. We washed most of our towels and other linens just to make sure. After calling again cleaning crew came back out to finish and a work order was placed to fix the decoration above the master bathtub (never completed). We could never use the tub. Property has plenty of roaches. Family member were cornered by them daily and complained of finding them in luggage when unpacking at home. Pool was extremely dirty. We attempted to visit one afternoon. Water was very mirky and garbage can full of dirty diapers to the top. Later finding out that there was an accident in the pool and it was never closed or locked. Large amount of construction on every side of this property. It obstructs the views the sounds and the atmosphere. We visit the Destin area once or twice each year and have never had this type of trouble. We would not consider this property again or any other managed by Southern Vacation Rentals.

We really enjoyed our stay overall. It was dirty in some places. We found food containers in a couple of drawers in the bedrooms and the 3rd floor fold out sofa had crumbs and a dorito bag on the mattress when we unfolded the sleeper bed. The smoke also went off with just the slightest smoke from cooking eggs and fish on the stove. Other than that, we couldn't beat the view and location. It was the perfect soze house for our family of 12. We really enjoyed our stay.

Our stay was fabulous! The house was exactly like the pictures, fully equipped with the essentials.There are some floats, beach chairs sand toys in a bin, not provided but just items left out of courtesy. Southern was great to work with and responded super quick via text for any questions. A true straight walk to the beach. The golf cart is worth renting though, just so easy to load up. Stinkys Fish Camp has amazing food. Quick drive to Walmart or schedule to have groceries delivered. Will return here!

Family enjoyed the house!

We loved the location and the convenience of having the golf cart to take us around. Thr whole house was amazing. The rooms were exactly as listed. The kitchen was big enough for our whole group. There was definitely enough space for all of us here. I would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a family home while in Santa Rosa!
