Stayed Dec 23, 2025This property is my FAVORITE VRBO that I have EVER stayed at. There's space for everyone to enjoy and gather together. And I absolutely ADORE the eclectic decor. There was a surprise around every corner. Beds were unbelievably comfortable, and there were so many little quiet corners for those moments when socializing was too much. And even though it was a Historic Home with quirks it was very comfortable and well appointed. Can't wait to book it again!

Stayed Dec 19, 2025This house was a beautiful place to stay for UMKC graduation weekend. We had seven people stay plus a few more for dinner and there was room to spare. We enjoyed little details like reading the vintage National Geographics and admired the quirky artwork. Pet friendly was a huge plus. Definitely recommend! :-)

Stayed Nov 22, 2025We had a good stay at this Victorian home. The location is great! Very close to downtown. You can walk to public transportation, park, and restaurants. We parked in front of the house but could have parked behind the house which is fenced in.The house could use decluttering, new bath towels, and more coffee mugs. There was a Keurig coffee pot with coffee pods, plenty of dish and laundry soap, and paper towels. TV in the living room worked, as did the appliances. My husband and I slept in a king bed in the middle room which was comfortable. Our other guests didn't complain about their beds.It got as cold as twenty degrees while we stayed here. The kitchen is very cold due to the door and windows not having weather stripping or being cheaply made, but thankfully the heat worked well in the rest of the house. And there was plenty of hot water in the 2 full bathrooms (one on the main level, one upstairs).Owner provided eye covers in all the bedrooms because the drapery is thin, doesn't cover the entire window, or is lacking. This is another issue that could be improved upon.Overall, and probably because we're pretty flexible, we enjoyed ourselves!

Stayed Sep 27, 2025The house was excellent for our Kansas City Chiefs weekend. All 5 guys had their own bedroom that was clean and comfortable. The neighborhood was very safe and clean. Just a 4 minute walk from a great breakfast/coffee shop. Restaurants and bars were a close drive. Much cheaper and convenient than a hotel for a family/friend getaway. The living rooms and outdoor area were great for hanging after BBQ and football. Highly recommend!!

Stayed Sep 12, 2025Lovely house, with lots of useful spaces. We had an unfortunately failing main AC unit for our weekend, but Andrea was very apologetic and as helpful as she could be to keep us comfortable.

Stayed Jul 30, 2025We had a pleasant stay in Kansas City! The communication was excellent, Andrea was so easy to work with. The kitchen was well equipped for our needs, and the location was easy to get to Crown Center and the Street Car for easy transit throughout the city.
