Thunder Bay vacation house with 2 bedroom (sleeps 4 plus baby), in Westfort Village area is close to airport 3.6 kms. Close to bus stops as well. We have all the conveniences. a full kitchen with full size stove , fridge, washer-dryer, dishes, linens and utensils, tv/wifi.
Plenty of free on street parking in summer. We are in a working class neighborhood close to a grocery store, restaurants, coffee shops, bulk food store and bus stops. Suitable for small family and baby, seniors orbusiness travelers. Work crews love the restful area in the fenced in private back yard. This vacation house is near intersection of Hwy 11/17 and 61, close to the airport. Great when you need a place when in town for medical care as well, visiting family and friends, work, or just a great vacation.

This 2 bedroom cozy house , 850 sq. ft, fully furnished, all utilities including tv and WIFI is ideal for seniors,business travelers,and small families. (no pets and no smoking allowed. No parties or events are allowed. Winter off street parking in the garage. Here you will find buses, direct to Confederation College and downtown, a grocery store, restaurants, Thai, Chinese, pizza, coney island, regular cuisine, a deli, bakery, gym, barber and hair dressing shops and a great nail salon. We have a Shoppers Drug Mart , a couple of coffee shops etc.We even have a bulk food store that you can buy small quantities of supplies for cooking in our well equipped kitchen. Our home is located in a working class neighborhood . Lots of on street parking in summer outside the front door and great neighbors.

Winter Experiences: If you like to ski Loch Lomand is just 14 minutes away and Mount Baldy is 25 minutes away. If you have hockey players in the family we have many arenas in the area. They include the Thunder Bay Tournament Centre,Delany, Fort William First Nations Arena and Neebing. We have lots of room to store your equipment in our garage too!

Summer Experiences:
We are near outdoor swimming pools and parks. Mountain views and Lake Superior views abound. Fort William Historical Park is 9.4 km plan on spending the whole day there. Chippewa Park is 16.2 km away. Chippewa offers free music on Sundays, let the kids ride the amusement rides and the antique carousel.Walk the woods, or the beach and let the kids play in the playground. On your way there stop at Mount Mc Kay Lookout and drive up the mountain to see the views of the city.
Winter sports, ski lifts, mountains nearby.
You can walk to Heath Park Pool an outdoor pool, take your kids to the library, or walk them to one of the playgrounds. When you see Mount Mc Kay you know you are close to home. We are a few minutes away by car from the intersection of Hwy 11/17 and 61.

We are a family friendly home with a high chair , pack n play should you require one. We are so senior friendly with only one step to get into the house. Once you are in the house there are no stairs and we do have a grab bar in the bathroom, chair height toilet and single lever faucets. You can also sit on the deck which is just outside the kitchen door. Again no steps. We offer a full size fridge, stove and washer / dryer.
There is a private fenced in back yard with a small patio with lawn chairs and a table. Room to walk around or sunbathe or for kids to play. You will enjoy the quiet, friendly neighborhood and and a place to relax outside after work or vising, or shopping.
