Stayed Dec 31, 1969This place met all of my expectations. It was clean, well prepared, taken care of by very friendly and helpful owners. Beautiful garden offered both sun exposure and shadow, swimming pool was sufficient for the whole group, barbecue was also very useful. All the amenities at home were ok, bathrooms were comfortable, beds as well, bedrooms spacious and easy to air. The place looks much better in reality than on pics, which is rare. Certainly worth recommending.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969Padroni di casa gentilissi ed efficienti. Località perfetta. Zona esterna bellissima. Camere e bagni spaziosi. La cucina è un po’ piccola ma in quanto casa d epoca ha dei vincoli strutturali e comunque in estate si vive sicuramente di più lo spazio esterno. Non c è aria condizionata ma è perfettamente vivibile avendo pareti di pietra spessa, basta lasciare aperte le finestre, intanto ci sono le zanzariere. E comunque ogni stanza ha un ventilatore all occorrenza. Ma la zona è già fresca di sera.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969Het huis is prachtig gelegen in een erg mooi gedeelte van Toscane met Florence en Siena op korte afstand. De eigenaren (Silvana en Roberto) waren uiterst vriendelijk. Slaapkamers zijn ruim en de bedden prima, evenals het sanitair. De tuin met zwembad is heel mooi en beschut. Het enige punt van kritiek is de karige uitrusting van de keuken: menig huis op een eenvoudig vakantiepark biedt ruimschoots meer.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969Die Küche im EG roch so modrig, dass es nicht möglich war, sie zu benutzen. Ein total verschimmeltes Holzbrett war beim Geschirr. Der elektrische Backofen im EG funktionierte nicht. Wenn man den zusätzlichen Backofen auf der Arbeitsplatte einschaltete, wurde der FI–Schalter ausgelöst – also auch nicht benutzbar. Der Kühlschrank im EG funktionierte bei der Ankunft nicht, wir konnten ihn selbst reparieren.Die Whg. im 1. und 2. Stock war in Ordnung. Ebenso der Pool und der Garten. Auch die Übergabe war gut und freundlich. Aber die Küche im EG war eine Zumutung!! Haben wir bei unseren bisherigen 4 Häusern in der Toskana noch nicht erlebt!! Gott sei Dank war das Wetter so gut, dass wir immer im Freien essen konnten und dass es im 1. OG noch eine Küche gab.Insgesamt nur die Bewertung mäßig wegen der modrigen Küche im EG!!! Reisetipps: Die Lage zwischen San Gimignano und Volterra ist gut. Auch Sienna, Montereggione und das Meer bei Cecina di Mare sind gut erreichbar.
