Une grande villa mais vieillotte, qui s’améliorerait beaucoup avec quelques ajouts (sèche-cheveux, machine nespresso qui ferait tant plaisir, savon pour les mains aux lavabos, sel/poivre). 1grande serviette + 3petites serviettes par chambre n’est pas assez pour 2. Piscine trop froide pour se baigner fin août (à l’ombre avant midi et après 17h) Manque de verdure (extérieurs entièrement carrelés). Mobilier de jardin en plastique, vieux, cassé, et pas joli. Pas d’enceinte musique

We booked a getaway for our family of 3 and came across this house, too big for us but it was just where we wanted to be. Lovely landlady struggled to get hold of her at first but was sorted before we arrived. The house is much bigger in person 4 big bedrooms, 4 big bathrooms, comfy lounge & 2 dining tables. The house had everything we needed for our stay. Pool was clean, my son enjoyed dipping in and out but was too cold for me I would recommend having it heated. If you are a light sleeper take some earplugs with you as they have a cockerel & dogs over the road. The location was great, supermarket 2 minute walk away, with its bakery area making our breakfasts perfect. There are a few restaurants within walking distance Luisas had a great menu and the food was excellent!! The spaghetti aglioli was unreal!! My son said the pizza was the best he’d ever had :) Hexagon steakhouse was another place I would recommend we had beautiful steaks there :) Mar de fora best place we ate in Carvoerio beautiful fresh fish & view!! Zoomarine was also a good family day out with different animal shows, rides, water park & beach area. We would come back :)

Der Pool ist für Kinder nich sicher! Reisetipps: Super Strände in 5 min mit dem Auto erreichbar, für das Einkaufen gilt das selbe.

Es ist alles vorhanden, was das Herz begehrt! Die Besitzerin ist sehr freundlich! Kinder sind herzlich willkommen! Das Haus ist sehr großzügig! Zwei Parkplätze für Autos sind vorhanden. Reisetipps: Zu Fuß zu erreichen sind ein kleiner Supermarkt mit frischen Brötchen, eine Pizzeria und zwei Snack–Bars. Alles getestet, alles wunderbar :–)

On arrival met by lovely couple they showed us around and explained everything in detail. A car is a must for your stay here as its quite a trip to the towns of Ferragudo or Caveiro and very hilly, there is a local bar, restaurant and supermarket. House is comfortable but a little dated i think but having said that typically Portugese, dark furniture doors and so on. Only issue was, with the pool it was very much in need of cleaning and maintenance, I called the owner and let them know and they said they would call the pool people to come and clean/service it.The following morning a guy withe a teenage girl arrived at 08-25AM and proceeded to do what looked like start cleaning the pool, they threw a hose into the pool and just looked at it, the went into the pool room and came back out in a few seconds took the Magic hose back out of the pool and told the girl to put it back out in the vehicle, he proceeded to the pole net and walked up and down the pool 2 times up and 2 times down with it in de water, He said goodbye and was gone in a space of 3 Minutes. I He did not carry out a water quality test at the poolside. The pool was just as dirty as it was before he arrived. Needless to say we did not use the pool at all during our 7 day stay for fear of being ill which was dissapointing. A little frustrating sitting poolside and tempratures in the 30s and not being able to jump in to cool off. But having said all, that was the only real issue we had.
