Stayed Feb 17, 2024On entering, we were very pleased with how the cottage was furnished and decorated. We were even greeted with a bouquet of flowers on the dining area table. Very comfortable furniture. Lovely loft sitting area. In the summer, I imagine the plantings give the illusion of privacy on the decks around the house. The bathroom was lovely, with a good size shower. My husband enjoyed the sauna. Because of bad knees, I was not able to do the same. The step up to the bench was too high. There is poor storage, bedroom closet doors don't open because bed is too big for for the space. no room to dress in there because the comfortable bed takes up a lot of floor space.Second bedroom has small closet. There is no storage for groceries, unless you put all your dry goods in the refrigerator. Instructions on how to use the sauna, stove and whirlpool were very clear. Not sure why, but the internet cut out at 20:00 the night before we left. Because of the loft design of the house, temperature was hard to regulate. I slept without blankets because it was very warm upstairs, and cool downstairs. On the plus side, the thermostats were very easy to find and use. We did enjoy ourselves, and would recommend Seesternchen as a nice place to stay.
