    We stayed one week in the nice flat and enjoyed our stay, especially the amazomg garden with the lemon hedge. The flat ist perfectly equipped and Northern Portugal is beautful, very green an there's a lot to see. The beautiful beach is within walkong distance.

    Pleasant and comfortable house surrounded by a small orchard and immaculately cared-for garden. Located off a through road amidst urban housing. Very hospitable owners, excellent service if some repair is needed and very forthcoming if you ask for something special.

    es war alles sehr sauber und gepflegt. Super nette Eigentümer. Es war alles vorhanden was man so in einer FWhg braucht. Es waren ausreichend Handtücher für 4 Personen vorhanden. Sehr zu empfehlen. Reisetipps: Restaurants gibt es genügend, die man zu Fuß erreichen kann, ebenso kleine Supermärkte, Bäcker und Metzger. Ausflüge: Barcelos Markt immer Donnerstags, Braga, Porto....

    The owners and their daughters are far more than friendly, helpful and hospitable. Such an unforgettable welcome happenned to us for the first time (we have been travelling with Interchalet since several years to different countries) The house is clean,equipped wirh everything we might have wanted. The garden is like a tiny paradise...with fruits one can have... The place is very quiet. Summarizing – excellent. Reisetipps: In Fao there is a number of shops and restaurants, some within a short walking distance. The beach is close. As to trips – places like Viana do Castelo, Ponte de Lima, Braga and Bom Jesus, Guimaraes are very close. All these places offer interesting architecture and museums. A trip to Porto is also feasible by train from Povoa doVarzim. A nice fishermen village Apulia is close. For those interested in popular fairs there is one nearby in Barcelos.

    Ungewöhnlich nette, gastfreundliche, hilfsbereite und gleichzeitig zurückhaltende Vermieter. Einmalig! Wir bedanken uns für den warmen Empfang mit der Schale mit dem Obst und die aufmerksame Betreuung. Verständigung auf englisch ist mit der Tochter, die mit im vorderen Haus wohnt, möglich.Die Unterkunft ist sehr sauber und ordentlich mit sehr viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichet. Vom Zauberstab bis zur Küchenwaage, Küchenrolle... alles vorhanden. SAT–TV mit Empfang aller deutschen Programme. W–Lan Empfang leider etwas schwach im Gebäude, aber außerhalb kein Problem.Wunderschöner, sehr gepflegter Garten mit Möglichkeiten unter den Obstbäumen sitzend oder liegend zu genießen und zu entspannen. Der Strand ist in ca. 12– 15 Min., ein kleiner Einkaufsladen mit frischen Brötchen, Obst, Gemüse und weiteren Lebensmitteln in ca. 5 Minuten zu Fuß zu erreichen.Fao ist ein kleiner Ort mit mehreren Einkaufsmöglichkeiten (.z.B. Lidl). Im ca. 5km entfernten Esposende findet man einen sehr großen gut ausgestatteten Supermarkt. Busse verkehren auch, jedoch unklare Verbindungen. Reisetipps: Wunderschöne Landschaft: Sei es der Strand oder das grüne hügelige Landesinnere.Insgesamt sehr, sehr freundliche Menschen, die die Zeit für uns unvergesslich machen.Eine Stadt, die unsgefallen hat ist Braga.Sehenswert empfanden wir auch Bom Jesus do Monte. Imposantes Bauwerk von wo aus man einen beeindruckenden Weitblick hat. Ausflüge nach Spanien gut machbar.
