Stayed Sep 20, 2019This was a great place for two families and grandparents. We were super close to Gardaland, which was why we chose this area. Just a quick and beautiful drive up to the walled city of Lazise (where the rental office is), and we couldn’t get enough of the beauty of this little city. The house itself seemed like it hadn’t been used for some time.... was a bit musty and closed up tight, could have used a good air out before our arrival, perhaps requesting this would help. Also, remember to order towels and linens if you need them, otherwise they won’t be available to you. Sheets and towels came wrapped in plastic, I’m sure to ensure their cleanliness, but we did have to make our own beds up, so be prepared for that. Kids enjoyed the pool some, but was a bit chilly! After a rainy day the mosquitos really came out and ate us all! Bring bug spray! The kitchen sink and the shower in the basement apartment didn’t drain, but when the rental agency was called they did come take care of the issue right away. Only one wine opener for both apartments.... one decent knife for both apartments, and one tiny cutting board in each kitchen left a bit to be desired. We were provided one roll of toilet paper per apartment and not a whole lot else in the way of necessities, so had to purchase these items. All in all we really enjoyed our stay in this area, and the house accommodated us just fine.
