Woodland Park, Colorado
We invite you to remove yourself from the concentration of people and come enjoy some quiet time in the mountains. Property Managements Specialists presents Pikes Peak Vacation Cabins! We are a locally owned and operated property management company, and it is our goal to provide the highest quality accommodations for our guests.
Welcome to the Ute Cabin! This charming home sits on over half an acre on the outskirts of the mountain town of Woodland Park. The home is surrounded by ponderosa pine trees and is frequently visited by the local wildlife.
With 1800 square feet, this mountain cabin can comfortably accommodate up to 6 travelers. Upon entering the home, guests will be greeted by an open floor plan with abundant natural night. The kitchen, living room, dining area, and one full bath are located on the main floor. Two bedrooms are also located on the main level, both with queen size beds.
The lower levels features a fabulous family room with 2 day beds, couches, and a foosball table. Large glass doors open up onto the lower patio area.
This cabin does have good internet.
The town of Woodland Park sits in the mountains just 15 miles West of Colorado Springs and serves as a fabulous home base to enjoy all that the Pikes Peak area has to offer. Pikes Peak, Garden of the Gods, Cave of the Winds, Manitou Cliff Dwellings, and the town of Manitou Springs are all withing 25 minutes driving time of the Ute Cabin.
Great place to stay, clean and very nice inside and out. Only thing that wasn't great was a bee hive outside by front door that made it difficult to get in and out. But otherwise would highly recommend!
Upon entering the main living area it was obvious it wasn't cleaned. Plus terrible musty smell. Needed a thorough vacuuming plus kitchen table & counters needed cleaning. The refrigerator & cupboards were full of food, some expired, nothing we wanted to eat. Lots of clutter in cupboards & throughout the house. No place to put our own things. It was like the previous owner moved out and left 30 years worth of belongings behind. The patio would be nice if they cleaned it off and didnt drip paint all over it. Windows are filthy, almost 1/2 of screen is off the rickety sliding glass door. The place requires a hauling out and maintenance to be considered a vacation home. Also beds are FULL size. Not queen size. They said they would send a one day refund. I have rented at least 8 homes from vrbo & similar. Never disappointed before.
great location, big house for the money, mattresses could be replaced. very enjoyable!
We enjoyed our stay for the most part. It was clean, had everything we needed and was Very close to things we wanted to see and do. It was very homey. The only thing not good was that the mattresses were very uncomfortable. Would still stay there again.
Everything was good. Property was outdated, but stocked well. Beds were comfortable, plenty of room for everyone.
The cabin is older but was very clean and homey! We enjoyed our stay immensely and had everything we needed (extra pillows and blankets, cooking supplies, etc.). It was very convenient to everything in town, and also close proximity to a cabin further up the mountain of family we were visiting.
The cabin worked out great for our vacation, great location in Woodland Park. We saw deer at the cabin every day, walking trail just up the road to get great view of Pikes Peak.
this house could be right for you if: 1. You like older non modern houses. 2. You don't mind a dusty house. 3. You don't mind a musky smell throughout the house, what the property manager said was the smell of mud due to the opening downstairs which opens up to a small opening which looks like outside the house, hence the mud smell I guess. If your good with theses things then this vacation home is good for you..it wasn't for my wife, her allergies and myself. The mangers DID refund 2 nights stay to us but still lost the booking fee, cleaning fee and taxes so still out a substantial sum for I house rental we couldn't stay in. Happy vacation :-)
We weren't really at the house much, but it's a great location and lots to do. I would go back for sure.
The property was minutes from town yet you are in a quiet wooded area with deer walking around. the cabin was clean with lots of windows for a breeze in the afternoon and evening. We had a good 4 days of quiet rest.
Dear just outside. Pike National Forest trail access 100 yards from driveway. Hundreds of books and games in house. Well stocked with dishes, towels, blankets, etc.
