It's very peaceful here with abundant wildlife. The area has wild turkeys, an owl who lives near our driveway hill, many rabbits, squirrels, raccoons, deer, foxes, coyotes, bears, geese, ducks, birds of all sorts, and fish in the pond. Hendersonville is a bird sanctuary, a nature lovers paradise.

Thank you for taking time to read this. We hope to host you soon.
The property was lovely and we had a wonderful time. The property owner Brian was very attentive and he made sure we were comfortable! We would recomend this home to others... it was a great place to finish the old year and start a new one!
Our daughter was getting married at Jeter Mountain Farm. This house was very close to the venue which was wonderful! The house was very clean and had everything you would need. The owner, Brian, was great…as well as his dogs!
It is a beautiful fully equipped, safe, spacious and clean cabin. Very close to downtown Asheville but in the quiet country. Host went above and beyond. We had two small kids and a small dog with us and enjoyed the property very much. The land around the house is also very well kept and lovely. Would definitely consider staying again.
We enjoyed staying here while I attended an event at the Kanuga Conference Center. The cabin is about two miles from Kanuga. It’s close to all the eateries and other amenities in Hendersonville and Flat Rock. The house is comfortable and well stocked. If we return to the area we would stay here again. The fall colors are magnificent, with beautiful views in every direction.
Lovely cottage situated between Brevard & Hendersonville. We enjoyed our stay utilizing the cottage as base camp for daily adventures around the area. It is VERY quiet on the property which we loved. Deer would be seen grazing in the late afternoons. Kitchen was really well outfitted (and we cook a lot!). Beds were comfortable with nice linens. Bathrooms were spacious. Great wood burning fireplace. The highlight for each day was our evening visit from Wren & Ozzy (generally Wren). The owners dogs were perfect ambassadors for the property!! If you want a comfortable, well outfitted home you can’t go wrong here. If you are a mountain biker it is 5 mins from Kanuga Bike Park. Only caveat is it is up a “North Carolina” driveway. Approach is bumpy gravel and steep. Not an issue for us in a truck. We enjoyed our stay!!!
This property is outstanding. Very clean, comfortable and has everything you could want. The hosts are wonderful. Friendly, helpful but not intrusive. When you stay here you feel like you’re home. The entire property is beautiful and available to guests for walks with dogs. Host dogs Ozzie and Wren are super friendly. Our dogs got along great with them. When we come back to NC this is where we will stay. One caution; make sure your vehicle can handle a steep gravel driveway and parking area. Our Subaru SUV was fine.
It's a great place in the woods. Plenty of peace and quiet, and the kitchen has everything you'd need. I just wish we had more time to enjoy the house, maybe next time.
Really nice place off the beaten path but not hard to get to and not far from town. It’s very dog-friendly and a great place for your pups to roam and explore. Neighbor dogs Ozzy and Wren might come visit too. They are super sweet and friendly. We will definitely be back next time we need a place in the Hendersonville area!
This property was one of the most comfortable I’ve stayed in. The house had everything you could possibly need, including high quality bedding and linens and a fully stocked kitchen! The rooms and bathrooms were spacious, and the outdoor decks and fire pit were amazing! No one ever passed on the private road other than the host, who was super helpful and accommodating. If you want updated, tasteful accommodations combined with the sounds, vibes, and natural beauty of a rural setting, all 15 minutes from most everything, this place is for you!
Our stay in this home was a wonderful experience. The owner was more than accommodating. His wife even made dog treats for our dog. Everything was so clean and welcoming. We were just 15 minutes from Hendersonville and 15 minutes from beautiful DuPont State Forest. Sitting out on the front patio was delightful every afternoon. We would highly recommend this home to anyone looking for a friendly getaway, comfortable, and pet friendly place.
Great stay!
Very nice, clean accommodations. Quiet and peacefu surroundings. Close to shopping and great restaurants in Hendersonville!
We so enjoyed this house! Not only did we have everything we needed, our dogs were welcome too! It’s hard to find a reasonably priced place that doesn’t have a thousand rules about what the dogs can and can’t do and where they can go and can’t go, so this rental was a gift to us. We came to celebrate my husband’s birthday and to have early Mother’s Day. We hope to come back soon!
Spring break getaway with husband, teen daughter, pup. Excellent location and convenient to Hendersonville, Asheville, Flat Rock and 26. We enjoyed the open living space with lots of windows, which at night made for a wonderful breeze. Kitchen was fully equipped and beds are very comfy! Brian was available as needed and a perfect host. Wren and Ozzy are the sweetest welcoming committee! Will definitely stay again.
We really enjoyed our stay. The property was equipped with everything we needed and more!
My wife and I loved staying here with our two dogs! The host was very friendly and had great recommendations and his dogs were super friendly with us and our dogs. It was also nice being ~50 min from Asheville - close enough but still made us feel like we were escaping into the woods. Absolutely recommend staying here!
Really enjoyed a quick weekend at this well-appointed cabin...great wildlife nearby that made the atay extra special...
This was our second stay at this rental. The owner is always very helpful and accommodating. The area is beautiful and close to great hiking. The cabin is well appointed and perfect for a getaway, with indoor fireplace and outdoor fire pit.
