There are many orchards and vineyards in Hood River. The Hood River Valley is known for its luscious apples, pears, cherries, peaches and other fruits, and for the view of the majestic snowcapped peak of Mt. Hood. People from all over Oregon make an annual trek in the fall to the many farm stands to stock up on fresh apples and pears. Other produce is available, and varies by season. The award-winning Hood River Vineyards is located on a hillside overlooking the Hood River Valley. Their tasting room features traditional wines, and fruit liqueurs.
The Columbia River Gorge, with its magnificent views make this a dream spot for a destination wedding.
Wind surfing capital of the world is Hood River's latest distinction. The winds from the Columbia River Gorge, best during the middle of the day, create ideal conditions for riding the waves. To enjoy the view of "boardheads" at play, drive to the Columbia Gorge Sailpark or follow Second Street to the waterfront.
The Mt. Hood region and its more than sixty miles of forested mountains, 77 waterfalls and myriad lakes and streams are a rip-roaring mecca for outdoor adventure. The mountain is home to four ski areas and offers the country's only year-round skiing and snowboarding.

The property is in a good location, quiet and close to a small park and town. The back patio was lovely and a great place to enjoy dinner. The landscaping was beautiful. The internet, wi-fi and television did not work and there was no response to my request to have these things fixed. The house is cluttered with bric-a-brac and signs indicating you should not touch this stuff.
Close to town, this cute comfortable home makes checking out the area easy. The bonus is the beautiful fenced back yard made bringing my dog possible. We will be back.
Lovely well appointed home not far from downtown, that met all of our expectations. Thanks so much for having us!!!
This is a wonderful 2 bedroom house in a very nice neighborhood that is easy to find. We were attending a family wedding that weekend and it had everything we could need. I would have stayed longer if I could have. It felt like home for a few days.
We really enjoyed our time at this rental. It was quiet, clean, and had everything we needed to be comfortable. We would definitely stay here again!
Enjoyed our stay and worked perfect for us. It’s in a quiet and nice neighborhood and we had everything we needed. The house is sweet and had everything we needed.
Very nice place but could use some updating of furnitures in the living room and dining room. Internet is useless. Easy communication with property manager. Very clean house. I would book this property again. We loved our stay there.
The house was very nice, just as described. The bed and furniture were very comfortable. The kitchen very well stocked, with enough room to store our groceries and things. The landscape out front is beautiful and the fenced back yard a big plus!! We are already thinking about our return visit! Really appreciate the instructions for the TV, we wish all places gave that info!
cute cottage for our short getaway, we have kids so needed like a backyard and park next door was bonus, has everything, checking in is easy and fast response, so no complaint overall. Thank you Tashi Lama
