This lovely cottage is so close to the beach! Many recent renovations - central Air Conditioning, a brand new bathroom, painting, new siding and roof are just a few updates to this Victorian styled home. With three bedrooms on the second floor (one of which you need to access through another bedroom) and a new bathroom you can sleep six. There is also a Queen sofa bed on the first floor and another full bathroom. A large living room and adjacent dining room are off of the kitchen. A large wrap-around porch is perfect for people watching! Take a stroll to the beach, in to town or right over to the Dairy Queen. Great location!
All guests must supply their own sheets, towels and beach towels or OPT in for our linen rental package.

My mom, husband, and young children stayed in the house for 3 nights while we were in town visiting family and doing some sightseeing. The location was fantastic and is the main selling point of the house. The beds were very comfortable, the rooms fairly dark, and the A/C and heat (we used both due to weather changing drastically) both worked great in all the rooms which I feel is tough to perfect in old homes sometimes. We house was generally clean aside from some dust/cobwebs/dead spiders here and there. Our biggest issue was with check in. It was not abundantly clear to go around the back of the house to check in. We arrived after dark and there were zero lights in the back and no signage on the front or in our welcome packet giving us any indication of how to get in the house. Would have been great to have some clear communication about how to get in the house. Would probably return, especially during peak season to take advantage of the location.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a really lovely and relaxing stay at 204 Savannah Rd. The house was incredibly well stocked, and was light filled and the furniture was comfortable and stylish. Wrap around porch and outdoor shower were amazing. House was one block from the beach which was very convenient. Main road is quite noisy which was the only blemish on an otherwise perfect stay!
The house was clean and neat. The fresh white paint and stained glass windows in the bathrooms made it all the better. The upstairs shower was great. The previous occupants or owners had left lots of extra goodies like games, food staples and supplies, and throw blankets. Being 1.5 blocks from the beach, 2.5 blocks from the bike shop, and near the bikeways was great.

Our stay was perfect! We brought our dogs and traveled with our in-laws. We were 1 block from the beach. Dairy Queen was across the street. The town with tons of restaurants was a 1 minute drive away. We would definitely come back. The house was very clean, we loved the front porch and the screened in porch.
Charming house. The upstairs setup is less than desirable as the third bedroom has to enter either one of the other two bedrooms to get to the bathroom. We couldn’t let the dogs play in the fenced in yard due to cats and their fecies everywhere. And flies too.
Our family of five loved our stay is this charming home with fresh updates. We spent lovely mornings on the screened in porch. We easily walked to Lewis Beach (bay) and biked to Cape Henhelopen and town. The beds were really comfortable. The house had everything we needed. Our dog is elderly so we especially appreciated being able to bring her. The fenced in yard was a plus. We'll be back!
