We loved our stay and will come again. Woke up to beautiful sunrises every day for a week. It was hard to leave. Peaceful and spacious. Easy travel for day trips in all directions. Host was fabulous and thoughtful. You won't be disappointed if you stay here.

We really enjoyed this lake house. Beautiful inside and everything you need outside. Great Lake views. Very quiet. Would stay there again.

Fabulous beach home. First time staying on sunrise side of Black Lake. Host has went above and beyond to decorate and provide everything you need for your stay. Lots of firewood was also available. Home was very clean and all beds were very comfortable. I can’t say enough about this place. Dog friendly is always a plus. I will be staying here again in the near future.

This property was absolutely amazing. From the moment of arrival to departure everything was perfect. Out of all the VRBO properties we have stayed at, this property oushines them all.Everything you could possible need was there. From the kitchen supplies, to the bathroom, to the outdoor area - everything was there.The views were amazing, the lake is beautiful. The area is perfect, we got to Mackinaw City and Cheyboygan which were only 30 minutes away. My grandaughter was thrilled because she got to kayak - the outside amanties are next to amazing. There are kayaks, swim stuff fir the lake, which was incredibly warm and shallow. The firepit was perfect for smores!The house is impeccably clean and well cared for. We will definitely be back, sooner than later!!Thank you for allowing us to stay at your amazing property!!

The house is beautiful and much bigger than the pictures. Just what we needed for a relaxing vacation. And close to macinac Island. We will definitely be back.

This property is the perfect lake cottage. Great open floor plan, clean (no “cottagey” smell), beautiful décor, quality bedding and towels (and plenty of them), every gadget you can think of, ceiling fans in every room and the window a/c kept us comfortable on the hot days. The patio areas are wonderful for outside dining or just gazing at the lake, quiet neighborhood, lots of toys and games for kids and adults. We saw a bald eagle on our first day and the ducks kept our dog entertained. This cottage has everything you’re looking for to enjoy a fun vacation. Two golf courses nearby – Black Lake GC is very challenging, Rippling Rapids is a country style course and great for every type of golfer. Two nearby restaurants we enjoyed were the Dirty Duck, and Lorenzos (but make sure you call to see what days they’re open). Brenda and Gil, thank you for sharing your wonderful cottage, and we look forward to returning someday.

We enjoyed our stay at this property. Home was clean and decorated nicely. Swimming is great as there is a sandy bottom and it’s shallow for quite a ways out, so excellent if you have dogs or children. Great communication with the hosts. I would recommend this property if you are looking for a place on Black Lake.

We enjoyed our week at Black Lake! The neighbors were very friendly, the cottage was quaint and quiet and matched the listing well. We were able to enjoy swimming in the shallow water from the dock, fishing and tubing from our own boat (with bumper pads on the dock for tying down), as well as fishing in the river/channel on the other side of the cottage. The whole lake was lit up with fireworks on July 4th and we enjoyed many campfires as well. The week flew by and we had loads of fun!

Very nice loacation right on the water of Black Lake. Very nicely decorated and very well stocked with all the essencials. Fire pit was a plus and we saw an abundance of wildlife. Black squirel, ducks with babies, geese with babies, a pair of loons and the best a flock of Trumpter swans. Close distance to a varity of sites and food. Would rent again the hosts were very easy to work with.

Beautiful lake house! It's a diamond in the rough for sure. Very peaceful and lots of wildlife. We will be returning ?
