Stayed Apr 7, 2025The property is situated right in the middle of town, just a block above the main street w/ nice views of the harbor.The property manager apparently was out of town, and did not respond to several key emails the 4 days we were there. Other than that, the property is priced affordably and well located.

Stayed Dec 21, 2024We had a perfect weekend in Akaroa weather wise and the property was ideal for our family of 6 adults and 2 young grandchildren 3 and 5years. The flow of the house the size and the amenities were excellent - it has a very homely feel.The house is perfectly suited for quick walk to the beach or down to the French bakery for pastries.We sat out on the deck soaked in the views and enjoyed the 26C days, Great fun out boating and heading out to see the dolphins. We will certainly be back!

Stayed Jul 19, 2024The heat pump was on when we arrived which was much appreciated. The house was as described. Not much wood for wood stove but it was not as cold as we expected. Well equipped kitchen. Would be even nicer in summer or a sunnier weekend!

Stayed Jul 15, 2024The house was very comfortable, warm and well laid out for 2 couples. Spacious living area with comfy chairs which is always good. The view was lovely only wish the weather had been better, can imagine it would be wonderful in the summer sitting on the deck overlooking the water.

Stayed May 31, 2024We had a lovely stay at this bach. Enjoyed sitting out on the deck looking over the water. It was lovely and cosy with the fire and heat pump. So central to everything and we walked everywhere. I would definitely recommend this place to others.
