Our stay was fantastic. The privacy of the property yet being right on Lake Leelanau was incredible. Anyone would love that breeze off the lake on a sunny warm summer day! So much to do at the house and the surrounding area.
This home was truly a wonderful place to stay! The host included many great touches such as a canoe, well-equipped kitchen and even nightlights throughout the home. The private beach was perfect for playing in the sand and swimming. The pictures accurately represent the property and the host was a good communicator. The location works well for so many local activities.
The property is an amazing location on a small peninsula into Lake Leelanau with a great cottage, lots of views of the lake, ability to eat meals outdoors, swim and putter around on the lake. We enjoyed the bike trail, Farm Club restaurant, Traverse City, and wineries & breweries all over the area. Sara and Ken were very organized and helpful. (Small issue - some of the bedroom windows need screens) Would definitely come back though!!
The house is in amazing condition with beautiful views. Sara's communication was on point and extremely responsive. We actually rented a pontoon from her husband during our stay as well. Definitely will be back!
Great quiet property minutes from Traverse City with lake views out every window. Just a few steps from the front porch and you are swimming in the lake.
My husband and I, along with our three teenagers, stayed here for a week and had a wonderful time. Inside and out, the place is just beautiful. Perfectly clean, elegant, comfortable, bright, breezy. The property offers multiple views of the lake; comfortable seating for morning coffee or afternoon reading on the porch; in Adirondak chairs on the lawn; or on a loveseat/swing by the water. It was so hard to leave. There are a million things to do around Traverse, and we did plenty, but I would have been perfectly content relaxing at the cottage and watching the lake. Thank you, Sara!
