Stayed Aug 18, 2025Excellent property in an excellent location, remote enough to be very quiet but close enough to walk into the middle of town.Only criticism: listing claims presence of a washer and dryer, so we packed accordingly for a week. Both had been removed, however, due, according to the property manager, to a ‘fire hazard’ and would not be replaced in time for our stay. It would have been nice (1) to have been informed of this beforehand, and (2) to have the price reduced accordingly, given the inconvenience.

Stayed Jun 18, 2025The house has a fabulous view, yet is in easy walking distance of 'downtown' Creede. It is spacious and well-appointed, with comfortable beds and bedding. The managers were extremely helpful on several occasions. My family had a great time, and hope to return in a couple of years.

Stayed Oct 21, 2024This house was perfect for our needs. We were six adults, 3 couples. We wanted to be close to hiking but also close enough to town to walk there. The views were spectacular. The house was spacious, clean, and welcoming. It’s on our list of places to rent again.

It was very comfortable, with plenty of room for the 7 of us. Great views; short walk to town. Would stay there again in a heartbeat.

The house is super cute and convenient to town. The views are phenomenal. The property was clean, the VRC staff was super responsive to all of our needs and questions. And the amenity boxes were very helpful!We were traveling with a 4 month old baby, and the setup was great for our family. A huge plus was no creaky floors or squeaky doors -- we didn't have to tiptoe around after she went to sleep.
