This was a unique place to stay in Alaska or anywhere. This houseboat seemed like it sprung out of someone’s dream. It had all the things you would need and then some. The hosts were awesome and informative of the features offered within this whimsical place. I would highly recommend this place over the average and mundane hotel rooms that are found around the planet. Take a risk and be rewarded. Thanks Gary and Theresa as well as Ghost for the hospitality.

This is a really cute place to stay. It’s quite unique and has Alaskan charm. The owners are very nice people and they equipped the boat with all kinds of fun snacks, and things to do. The only thing I would suggest is maybe explain to people the ladders to get into the beds because it was a little difficult to get down them.

This property is so amazing! This boat has been transformed into the most amazing and magical little house. My kids and I stayed one night and there was plenty of room for us to move around and enjoy our time. You can tell that everything in the tiny house has been thought through, and the added little details enhanced our experience. The place was stocked with everything we needed and more. I was so impressed with this place and the owners were so nice and helpful. My children and I loved staying in the Magic Ship!!!

We came to Alaska for our anniversary and Ghosts Magic Ship was the cutest little stay for Memorial Day on our way south from Anchorage to Homer. Perfect space for the two of us with all the creature comforts of home! We had everything we needed and more! The location was great - super close to shops in Soldotna but far enough way that we could experience the wilderness of Alaska! There were so many artful details, and everything was so serene! The hospitality of the hosts was top notch! We appreciated so much attention, communication, and explanation on the sustainable features of the property - the composting toilet wasn't scary at all! We will definitely be staying here again next time we're in Alaska. We had such a joyful experience, and this is an absolute gem of VRBOs! We are so grateful!

My granddaughter loves the boat house and all of the original art inside! The hosts were very friendly and helped introduce us to the unique property fully. We look forward to staying again in the future!
