Unique Setting - Built on Quarry Bed

This was a beautiful property, peaceful, clean and spacious. Our hosts, Mary and Mitch, were kind and gracious. If you stay, plan to supply yourself with whatever beverages and snacks you want. This isn’t a property that provides much beyond a couple Keurig pods of coffee. My only disappointment was that the booking site I looked at showed the location to be downtown Fish Creek, which was a big selling point. It’s a beautiful location but about 1-2 miles from downtown.

Very unique dwelling on beautiful wooded setting over garage [carriage house]. Owners very kind, welcoming and accommodating. Unfortunately fireplace in bedroom not working. We will definitely try and stay here again! Would also be nice to have a dining table in addition to kitchen island bar to eat. We really enjoyed our stay!

The Quarry House is a very unique setting, the hosts are very nice and willing to have your stay memorable. The Quarry House is centrally located in Door County and easy access to all areas/activities.

We absolutely loved our stay in the carriage rental! The setting is so unique—peaceful and tucked away, yet just minutes from all the fun, restaurants, and attractions. It was the perfect balance of relaxation and convenience. Mitch and Mary were wonderful—so friendly and accommodating, and it was a real plus having them living on site if we needed anything. The space itself was cozy, clean, and well cared for. We would definitely stay here again in a heartbeat.Tip: if you’re considering booking, reach out to them directly—they’re fantastic to work with, and it can save you money. Highly recommend!

Beautiful property with extremely well maintained grounds. It is in a fantastic location that is quiet but close to everything and in the middle of Door County's best. The hosts were incredibly welcoming and friendly and the apartment felt super cozy and had what we needed. They wanted to meet us in person which was sweet. Very dog friendly and spaces to walk our pup. The only thing that could be improved was how hard the bed was to us but that is also just personal preference. We loved it here and will definitely be back, hopefully next summer!

Our hosts were personable and helpful. The quarry has great history and design while being close to all the attractions but yet being secluded. We had a great time during our stay, and Mitch and Mary are very sweet.

My wife and I spent the July 4th weekend here and it was the best. Our hosts were extremely nice and the place was spotless. Mitch and Mary are such nice people and they really made us feel like they cared about us having a pleasant visit to Door County.We'll definitely plan to stay here again when we return to Door County.

The owners Mitch and Mary were great! The property was beautiful, and it was centrally located making it easy to get to egg harbor, fish creek, and Baileys harbor. We enjoyed the collection of VHS tapes, and even watched a movie one evening. Great property for a weekend away with your spouse!

Very comfortable stay!

My high school friends and I did our first vacation together after our freshman year of college to reconnect and catch up. We had an AMAZING experience! Mitch and Mary were beyond welcoming. They were excited to show us around the rental and opened their beautiful property up to us. The history of the property is so fascinating and we highly recommend asking Mitch for a tour of his art gallery! The location was perfect! We were 15-20 minutes from all the best spots in Door County. HIGHLY recommend booking this rental! I know I will be again:)

We really enjoyed our stay and the hosts were super helpful and lovely the whole time. It was a great space for us to use and having a kitchen was really good. Overall a great place!
