Great house with a great view. Not too far from skiing. Despite the 1 negative I would stay here again if not staying at the ski resort. Only down side was the last 200' or so of the road to the house is under developed (to put it mildly). You would definitely want 4WD for any bad weather.
In addition to being really close to our son's wedding site, this unique property worked well for us. Full kitchen and dining area, plus private bedrooms and shared bath works ok for a close-knit family like ours. Loved the two decks with great views and lovely hummingbirds greetting us every morning! My only challenge is that very few of the windows are operable - we're huge fresh air fans - grateful for the door to the deck in both bedrooms!
Poor experience with the property managers ask the forests and lakes closed because of huge fires going on right now so we tried to push out start back 4 weeks which the property had a opening but according to vacasa just because everything you want to do on vacation is closed that’s not a reason to push stay back. Needless to say i will never use them again and probably going to be a dollar learning experience. Very unprofessional in my books wasn’t trying to even get money back just move dates because of fires. Vrbo will probably not be used anymore either since nobody wants to do anything. But that’s ok we still have other’s
This is a beautiful cabin in the mountains. The theme is Bigfoot but there's nothing to be scared of. Very clean and welcoming, fast internet and TV service. Several decks overlooking the Angel Fire Ski resort just a few miles away. Enjoy the local brewery, Zeb's restaurant or get groceries and cook in the cabin. There are games for entertainment and a supply of firewood for the indoor fireplace. You won't regret your time spent in this hideaway.
We had a great time! The place was so clean upon arrival and the view was amazing!! The place was spacious and had everything we needed as far as bathroom and kitchen necessities. We would definitely stay here again.
House was very clean with breathtaking views of the mountains and the Angel Fire ski slopes. Wi-Fi was great!
Enjoyed staying in the house. Short drive to ski. The road to the driveway is pretty rough. 4WD would be highly advisable.
The property was nice and clean. Pretty views and the cabin was everything that it looked like pictures. However, WiFi did not work and so we had no internet or tv all 3 nights. We called several times and emailed and got no answer or help. Also, the beds were very hard and uncomfortable. If WIFI would have worked or company at least attempted to help, our stay would have been much better. We rented through Vacasa and it the communication through them was awful.
