This old gas station converted space is unique just like us. Our place is located on US HWY2, close to everything. Just 1 block to access the atv/utv/snowmobile trail, 3 blocks to the bike/walking trail (Iron Belle), and centrally located between the skills hills. Copper Peak and Lake Superior only a short drive away.

The space offers a large parking lot to hold a couple of trucks and trailers. For all the EV travelers we offer indoor charging. The garage stall accommodates snowmobiles and ATV/UTV's to wrench on with a small, designated workspace and basic tools.

No need to take off your shoes as this floor encourages you to wear your shoes or slippers.

Our bedroom offers 2 new queen beds, eco-friendly sheets, fireplace with electric heat, 42 smart tv, and Nintendo Wii. A dedicated office space offers an antique desk and roll chair.

The large open concept space is the heart of Da Shop, you can cook a meal, sit at our one-of-a-kind car lift table, and hand your gear to dry while watching your favorite show on the 65 smart TV with Bluetooth sound bar. Relax by the fire with our gas fire place an easy push of a button and stay toasty warm while enjoying a board game or cards. In the warmer months take a nap on the couch that converts to a pull-out full-size bed while allowing the air conditioning to blow.

The bathroom offers a high ceiling with a fan, a night lite, and huge walk-in shower. The bathroom is stocked with fresh bath towels, wash clothes, and shower mat. Extra soaps, Q-tips, cotton swabs, and toilet paper.

Fun and unique place to stay! Clean and comfortable. The best part was being able to pull the truck and snowmobiles in to unthaw. My husband thought that was awesome! Snowmobile trails were close and easy to get to. Host was very responsive and answered questions quickly.

We stayed here for our 3rd anniversary. I am a retired 28 year Master Mechanic and shop owner. This place was wonderful, clean and well located for what we were looking to do and that was Madeline Island(Apostle Islands) and the ferry. It was a hour and 20 minute drive-leaf changing wonderful fall day. And it was beautiful . The weather was great. The owners messaged me all through the process. The space was unique and clean and perfect for my nostalgic past. We will come again.and bring the utv next time. The garage space is great, even a tool box with tools! There’s games, a Wii, 2 TVs, corn hole, and all the comforts of home. Couldn’t ask for more, Thank you for sharing your space with us.

Overnight stay on a drive across the upper Midwest. Comfortable beds, very accessible location. Hosts were awesome and so easy to work with. Property had a cool and creative vibe for motor enthusiasts. Loved it! Would be perfect for a stay with snowmobiles or motorcycles!

This was definitely a unique base camp, but it served us beautifully. We had our side-by-side with and could ride right from the property or do short trailer to other trails. We could even bring the machine inside with us! I also had my e-bike with and trails for that were nearby too. Waterfalls, the Copper Peak experience, Porcupine Mtns, all within a short distance.

My sister and partner wanted to do a kid-free get away for the weekend and found this location. PERFECT for a short stay and located in a great 'middle' location from many of the hiking trails we wanted to explore. Our stay was comfortable, low maintenance and exactly what we were looking for. The neighborhood was quiet save one evening when some folks were up next to the building carrying on a bit but no harm. We loved that we could park the car in the garage! This would be a great place for snowmobiling too. We can already see the benefiits! The property was well maintained, clean, very user friendly and any of the amenities we would suggest are not really needed since we wanted 'simple'. Oh and an AMAZING shower! Over all we were very pleased with our stay, the accommodations and value. Thank you!

I was immediately drawn to a converted service station and knew this was the place. The communication from the host was phenomenal - always very expedient and thorough. The place was better than the pictures. If you're into the industrial/homey combo - you're in luck! The place is completely thought through. Dishes, wood stove, towels, etc. Everything you could possibly need to cook and relax. It was a total win for my friend and I - and the location is absolutely perfect. Central and close to everything - and you can see rock formations/mountains in the background across the street.Highly recommend and hope to get back there soon.

Had a great time this year at the Shop! The kitchen is well stocked and the place was comfortable with the humidifier going. I most enjoy the location to ski resorts and ability to park indoors. This is my favorite place to stay.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. We laughed about having our sleds in our living room, but loved every minute of it. This places mixes function with comfort. The beds were extremely comfortable and I loved that there were multiple different kinds of pillows to choose from. Everything you could ever need for a weekend get away to ski or snowmobile was here and thought of.

I love all things historic, and thought it was so cool the way they had set this place up as a VRBO. Comfortable beds and lots of inside room to play games when the weather was bad outside.
