Stayed Feb 10, 2026First, this house is absolutely stunning. The architecture and details inside are incredible. The host was always quick to respond to questions and was very helpful and friendly.Amenities were wonderful, and the house was an absolute delight to visit. There is a train track that runs nearby and it is active. If you’re a light sleeper you might consider earplugs or some white noise. All told, we loved our stay and would not hesitate to return. As a note:Apple Maps and Google Maps gave directions right to the house; Waze was a bit perplexed by the elevation and gave directions to the bottom of the hill.

Stayed Dec 20, 2025We had a wonderful stay in this freshly remodeled home. It was clean, comfortable and offered privacy that a hotel room or VRBO in town could not match. We will be back.

Stayed Nov 12, 2025Thank you for sharing your spectacular home with us. We stayed two nights (Nov 12 and 13). The home is architecturally stunning, decorated very nicely, and spotless. We've stayed in several VRBO rentals and this was the best. An awesome experience!

Stayed Aug 27, 2025Very clean home, comfortable living area and adequate seating for 6 in dining room. Well appointed kitchen with all necessary appliances including coffee maker (keurig and brew style), toaster, microwave and oven, dishwasher and side by side refrigerator/freezer. Two main bedrooms, very comfortable. Upstairs is a loft style (think no doors) with a queen bed and full bathroom attached. Downstairs is very comfortable as well with two queen beds and a walk in full bathroom with rock walls and skylights. AC is managed well with mini splits, we were comfortable the whole time. There is a train that goes by several times a day and night but is thankfully pretty brief. The views are outstanding. You can see some shopping areas below (there is a wal mart just minutes away) but the whole property is surrounded by lush trees, and there’s a deck with seating to take it in. Loads of big windows letting in natural light. Overall we enjoyed our stay very much and would rent again.

Stayed Jun 21, 2025The Skyview Lodge home is absolutely beautiful, and the views are wonderful. My husband and I had a relaxing 2 night stay. It is perfect for couples or families. I spent hours enjoying the outside decks - even watched LSU baseball win the College World Series from our laptop on the deck. Geaux Tigers!!!We especially loved the stone shower! We will definitely be back! This is a perfect almost halfway point from our home in north Louisiana to Fayetteville to visit our daughter and her husband.

Stayed Feb 14, 2025Beautiful beautiful home. It rained the whole time we were there. Still wonderful place to stay and the history is amazing. Thank you Sondra for going out of your way to have flowers picked up for me and have them inside the house when my wife walked in. Great Valentine’s Day.

Stayed Oct 11, 2024The house was amazing with large windows and great balconies with awesome sunrises in the morning the Sun comes up over the mountains. close to many things, including great trials for hiking. I recommend the Wolf pinnacle trail. It's an old logging road, so it's pretty easy to hike, but it's also a good climbStrenuoumclose by
