Stayed Feb 15, 2026The problems started before we even arrived. In the welcome email, I learned the upstairs toilet had been out of service since January. I booked in December and was never informed. Had I known, I likely would have chosen another property, as our group needed a working upstairs bathroom. When I reached out, I was told it was in the listing—even after I explained it was added after I booked.Check-in was scheduled for 4:00 p.m., but when we arrived, the cleaner was still there and didn’t finish until 5:00. We had to wait an hour and received nothing more than a “thank you for your patience.” The lack of customer service in both situations left a bad impression.The house itself was roomy and matched the photos. However, there was a large wet spot on the master bedroom rug that didn’t dry until morning. The living room couch was worn and stained. There was no hand towel in the powder room, so we had to use a washcloth from the master bathroom. The refrigerator leaked constantly, leaving a puddle on the kitchen floor that we had to keep cleaning up to prevent slipping.The backyard was also disappointing—only one broken chair, and the shed was left open with animals nesting inside. I also did not appreciate the repeated emails urging me to leave a 5-star review.

Stayed Nov 7, 2025I could never get into happyguest which was very frustrating. There were dust and cobwebs around the floor. Carpets were dirty. Beds and sheets were very nice. House was roomy and nice. The very worse part is when we got there both windows were open and screens removed. Very concerning!! We were not sure what we should do because it was just ladies staying there. We tried to contact the host by text. We got not one word back. Food in the food basket was gone. Also very very concerning!!Front porch was full of branches and leaves and back yard a complete mess!! Great location.Very unhappy!!
