Great, quiet, beautiful location for our big chill weekend. We had 13 of our lifelong lady friends who wanted a location to hang out and talk and laugh and enjoy each other's company. Location accommodated us perfectly. Enough sleeping beds and bathrooms were perfect, fire pit and hot tub were also used (a little cool for the pool). Very close to Lake George for our outings and hikes.

The house was very welcoming. Everything was thought of to keep us comfortable and entertained. We had a great time with beautiful scenery.

We had an awesome time here. Plenty of space in the house and on the property for the whole family to spread out. We were able to take the kayaks down the river (which was calm). Very close to Lake George and trails.

The house was absolutely perfect for a large family or group. Everything exceeded our expectations. Communication was easy and the hosts were responsive and quick, provided all info and tips. House comes equipped with everything! We had a large group ranging in age from little kids to grandparents and everyone was comfortable. Very close to all the sights at Lake George, we will definitely be back!

It is a beautiful home on a lake that our kids and grankids loved kyacking in. And being 10 minutes from Lake George Village was an extra perk. Lots of memories were made and we would definitely go back there again.

Wow!! Pool, river with canoe and 4 kayaks. The kitchen was the heartbeat of our time. Very well stocked. The owners thought of everything from coffees to popcorn to snacks. Talk about popcorn. They have a cut popcorn machine with plenty popcorn kernels to pop. However we didn’t use it. This house is perfectly maintained. The owner Niki texted me when the garbage would be picked up and the lawn mowed. Plenty of bedrooms for myself, husband, adult kids and our two grandsons, aged 5 and 7 and my son in laws mother. We ate outside at the picnic table; breakfast, lunches and dinners. The weather was perfect. Lake George is a perfect distance away for bowling or putt putt. We took a boat trip around the lake which included lunch. Our week went too quickly. Would we come back? YES!!!! Thank you Nikki and Bill! We had a memorable time!

House was super clean, size was great, owners were super responsive. Not all windows had screens, appliances were a little troublesome, and the air conditioning wasn’t great - extremely hot upstairs, extremely cold in basement. Pool and yard were exceptional. Overall good place to stay and would recommend to others.

Even though the weather didn’t cooperate, we had an amazing weekend enjoying the house and location. We went kayaking, built campfires, grilled barbecue and comfortably fit everyone in the family room to watch movies and sports!

Fantastic get away

Beautiful venue, with amazing outdoor amenities. Fabulous pool, hot tub and firepit. Fantastic environment to spend some time with family and friends. The location is right off the highway with easy access to many stores and local fun spots like Lake George and Diamond Point. The owners are so attentive and responsive both during the booking process and during the stay. We loved it so much, we booked it again for our 2026 trip.

Location was easy to get to. The house was beautifully decorated and located right on the water. Kitchen was fully stocked with pots, pans and utensils so it was easy to cook for the whole group! We had a great time staying here :) 10/10

My Dad had always wanted to spend a Christmas in a log cabin. So, the family and I had decided to book this beautiful home a year in advance. During that time, my Dad was diagnosed with Stage 4 esophageal cancer. He did have the treatable kind with a good prognosis. My Dad went through his 7 weeks of radiation and chemo. Unfortunately, he died in his sleep 2 days after his last day of treatment. My whole family decided that we would honor my fathers wish and spend our Christmas in this home because it was what he was looking forward to once he was in his recovery stage. I shared this info with Niki and asked if she would be able to put up a Christmas tree for us and she said she would and would add some other decorations too. Everything was beautiful. It even snowed on Christmas Eve. We had a lovely time. The house was very clean, the beds were comfy, and the communication between myself and Niki were always respectful and quick. The view from the back deck was beautiful. Niki was very accomodating to any and all requests. The location also was vey close to the outlets, grocery stores, restuarants, and the Saratoga Casinos. I would highly recommend this home and owner to any all. This trip was a bittersweet one for our family however Niki truly helped making it a happy and memorable time for me and my family.

Our stay included 3 families for a ski weekend at Gore Mtn, which is about 25 mins away. The house is also about 10mins from downtown Lake George village. The house is very large and spacious. Lots of room for kids downstairs and adults by the fireplace!

We rented the house for a weekend to accomodate a large group and the house was perfect for that purpose. The home was clean and we woke up to amazing mountain and river views. The common areas were spacious and the kitchen was large and had everything we needed for a fun weekend. The only draw back to the house was that you can hear the people walking above you from the upstairs or the main floor which can make for an early rising in the AM. Other than that the home is perfect and I highly recommend.

We had a wonderful time at the log house. It was well situated close to Gore Mountain. We also had a collegestudent at Union College in Schenectady so he could easily join us. The neighborhood was mixed with many different kinds of homes but looking out the back of the house provided great privacy and a beautiful setting. We hope to return for another visit next year.Hope Swarts

Loved this house to host our family for the weekend. It was perfect with a snowy white background. Hosts were excellent in responding before and during the visit. It had ample space for folks to spread out and the hot tub was an added bonus. We did have older folks and toddlers that are light sleepers and sound travels up and down in this house including creaky floorboards and voices. The listing photos make it seem like the house is secluded, but its located in a neighborhood with houses on either side in close proximity. Overall it was a great stay! Thank you!

Beautiful place. Thanksgiving day the power went out for about 2 hours. Very happy our dinner didn't get spoiled. We had an amazing time even through the blackout. Kids, grandparents, everyone was inlove with the place.

Our group of 3 couples stayed here for 4 nights in late October. The house is 100% as stated and pictured in the listing - absolutely breath takingly gorgeous! We chose this house from a long list available for our dates a lot due to reviews and were so glad we did - the reviews and house did not let us down one bit. We are thinking of bringing our 3 married children and families and staying here in the future. Highly highly recommend this house!

My family and I had a fabulous stay at this beautiful home while celebrating my husband’s birthday. The house was spacious, clean, had a well stocked kitchen and fun game room. This will definitely be our home away from home the next time we visit lake George.

We all enjoyed our stay in this beautiful home! There was plenty of room to spread out for my husband and I, our kids, and grandkids.. totaling 13. The beds and pillows were very comfy, which is important to us. The basement is a little chillier than the rest of the house but is set up with nice space heaters which made it just fine! The kayaks and canoes were a huge hit as well as the air hockey, foosball, and arcade games. The kids just loved them! The view was our favorite thing! It is Absolutely Beautiful!! The river was very serene and tranquil. The kitchen and its supplies were awesome, with a nice thoughtful touch of ingredients left for us for smores. And the fireplaces were so relaxing. The hosts were so nice. Just a Great place to stay! We will definitely want to stay here again!!

We had a wonderful stay celebrating a 50th Anniversary. Bedroom on the main floor was wonderful for older folks. It was a memorable weekend for all of us....from great grandchildren to our parents who we were celebrating. The home is spectacular and all the amenities were perfect. Very easy and reasonable instructions upon check in and check out.

We enjoyed our stay very much! We arrived to a very clean house and were able to move in smoothly. The house is very spacious with enough room for a large family. The kitchen is stocked with many items. The firepit is very nice! The grill worked perfectly. The pool was clean and nice to use, along with the hot tub. The upper deck is big and can hold a good number of people comfortably. There is a refrigerator in the garage that we used for drinks. Overall, I do recomment this house as a nice and comfortable place to rent anytime of the year.

What a perfect place for our extended family of 9 adults and 7 children to spend a relaxing week of vacation! The home is located in a quiet neighborhood on the river, tucked away from the hustle and bustle of crowds but is just a short drive to everything Lake George has to offer. The spacious home offered lots of room for the kids to play, including a huge back deck. The kitchen is well-stocked with everything you could possibly want or need, even for a group our size. Bedrooms were large and comfortable, dining area and main living area each had lots of comfortable seating. The inground pool was definitely a favorite highlight, as was the hot tub, the fire pit, and the game room. Our hosts were excellent communicators throughout the entire process, were attentive to any questions or needs we had during our stay, and truly went the extra mile to make our stay memorable. Check-in and check-out were a breeze, too! All of the adults in our party were in agreement that we would book this home again in the future, without hesitation!
