Owner left us stranded with no way to enter house and wasn’t responsive to messages or emails, even ones that were sent 24 hrs prior to checkin. On day of arrival no instructions were sent to enter property and even Expedia couldn’t get a hold of owner. The 11 of us had to go find hotels at the last minute.
We had a great time at the Terrace or property. We had 9 guests with plenty of room for everyone. The neighborhood is charming! It was nice to walk around and look at all the historical homes. We would definitely return.
Home is very amazing
Awesome place to stay!
The home is very beautiful in a stunning historic area. However once you have stayed for a few hours, things change... there are blown out lights, or no lights in many of the rooms. There were NO curtains upstairs so the boys sleeping up there were up at the crack of dawn. One of the light bulbs popped so had to look everywhere for a vacuum and in doing the vacuuming we noted that that place was not very clean. There is not enough plates, cups etc for the amount of guest staying (we had 11 and a baby). And no dishwasher liquid or tablets so couldn't even clean the dirty ones properly to reuse. These should be standard for traveling guests. There was no air con in the top floor and the vent on the top floor fell to the ground just missing my son who was lying in the bed. This place could be an AMAZING place - but it needs some love and care.
We were in Kentucky for work and this home was really close to the Kentucky Expo Center and local places to eat. It was really nice being able to come home to a house instead of a hotel. We really enjoyed our stay.
The home is in a location that provides great proximity to the downtown area and the highway for travelling outside of downtown. The front porch is nice for sitting and walking the court was a nice experience to see features of other historic homes. The home was perfect for 5 couples, with great bathroom resources. The owner is responsive and provided us with a new coffee pot when the current coffee pot was not functional. Check In and Check Out are easy and smooth with minimal check out requirements. Our favorite feature for a house of 10 adults was the instant hot water at the sinks and in the shower, hot water was never an issue. We would stay here again!
Our family looked for a place to stay that had ample bedrooms and space in a central location for our bourbon trail stops, and we were not disappointed! The house has so much room and character!!! It’s is an older home but has been renovated tastefully without giving up its history. The neighborhood is quiet and parking on the street was not an issue. The location was close to the interstate and lots of local places for dining and drinks. We used the main floor every evening for game night and basement for games as well. David was great and very responsive ….thank you!!!! Just a great family trip all around!!!
Situated in a tucked away part of Old Louisville, this old 3-story + basement house was ideal for a large holiday gathering of family. Wish we could have had better weather (Christmas snow) to appreciate the mini-neighborhood of houses there. Must be beautiful in spring/summer!
Friends and I were visiting Louisville for a bourbon tasting and theological retreat. The home was spacious, decor up to date, and provided a great place for us to comfortably gather outside or our planned activities. Would definitely stay again if we ever make our way back to Louisville.
Everything was pretty good. House it’s beautiful it self, but It was not as clean enough. And the sheets weren’t wash. I had to wash them all before we used the beds. Pillows are very dirty (yellow). I would suggest more pans. There was only 2 and old.
Stayed with a group of 9 friends for two nights during the week. Plenty of space and great location. Would definitely return if ever back in Louisville.
