The house was perfect for our weekend getaway and situated in a quiet neighborhood but close to everything. The layout was a great combination of open and cozy. We enjoyed watching the fireplace from the comfy sofas. Everything was exceptionally clean!
Clean, close to everything.
Great house in a quiet neighborhood
We rented for our honeymoon and will be coming back!
Third stay. Always clean. Great location—close to Pinkham, close to N.Conway, close to hiking trails off of Rt. 302. Still wish there were better lamps for reading. There are really none. We got shut out from hiking for 2.5 days due to rain—would have been nice to read. Still, we really enjoy staying there.
Loved this house! Just a weekend away with family and our 2 year for relaxation, some hiking and enjoying the surroundings! Great location for walks/hikes. Close to downtown North Conway for shopping, playground, train station and restaurants! House was great! Very clean, had everything we needed! Very easy to ask questions if needed. Would love to come back some day!
Very nice. Very peaceful. Very clean.
Everything was cozy, clean and in good working order. Our family enjoyed their stay. We would have preferred a better trash & recycling system. There was not a separate receptacle for recycling.
Nice off the main road hideaway. 3 of us and a small dog had a nice long weekend. Plenty of space and our son loved the bunk bed!
2nd time we’ve stayed here. Perfect for us. Clean. Great location.
This cabin offers great access to town, trails, and plenty of great outdoor activities. The fire pit is excellent and it have a very nice kitchen with essentials. The cabin itself is not very clean. Lots and lots of bugs (ants, beetles, mosquitos, gnats, etc.), both dead and alive, all around the inside of the house. The carpets and rugs are visible stained and smell terrible, as does the couch. The beds are flimsy and creaky. The location of the cabin is not private at all. Your have neighbors with unobstructed views on all sides accept the rear of the home. The check in instructions were incorrect, leaving us waiting outside the cabin for 30 min while we tried to connect with someone from VRBO or Vacasa. They definitely need to install some pest control measures. I am quite disappointed in the actual experience as compared to the public listing and certainly would not revisit this cabin. The area, however, definitely. Just somewhere else.
What can I say? This place is perfect for a White Mountains getaway! Beautiful, spacious, and comfortable home, private (but not isolated), quiet, wooded property, with easy proximity to outdoor recreation and shopping, dining, etc.
It was convenient to shopping and attractions
Our family stayed here for the weekend and we loved it. It was nice and clean and very bright throughout the day. The towels and linens super clean. The only issue we had was with the coffemaker(didnt brew right; but no big deal) and the fire alarm in the bunkbedroom did go off after midnight while we were sleeping. We did check if there was anything that couldve caused it to go off but didn't find anything. Other than that we really did enjoy our stay as well as our GSD puppy. Thanks for everything!
Very clean and comfortable. This was our 2nd stay at Live Free Lodge. Nice to be away from the hustle and bustle of North Conway but yet only a 10 minute drive from all the activities. We will be back to Live Free Lodge again!
