Kure Beach, North Carolina
We have slashed the linen fee and reduced the nightly rate to make up for inflation and high gas prices!!!Just one block from the Beach Access! This is a newly restored beach cottage that has 4 bedrooms located in the heart of downtown Kure Beach. A beautiful corner lot, with brand new appliances, beds, floors, baths that will accomodate up to 10 people. It's almost like staying oceanfront, but at a much more affordable price. We hope that you will make wonderful memories in this carefully restored vintage cottage that has all the ameniities of a new home.

No central air or window units in half the rooms. Not enough fans to keep air flowing throughout the house. Found several cockroaches in pantry, bedrooms and living room. Can’t see or hear the ocean, unlike description says. No extra linens, no hairdryer. Easy walk to beach.
Plenty of room for families, lots of parking, large dining area and deck made meal time enjoyable, comfy beds, easy walk to beach, really couldn't be any more perfect!
This house was perfect for our extended family (kids and grandparent), clean, roomy, and convenient to everything.
We loved the property and would highly recommend it. It was a convenient walk to the beach and dining, and a short drive to shopping and entertainment. The space was perfect for our family of four plus our dog. Consider this strong endorsement. --Andy
We had too much fun! We rode bikes everywhere, played Pickleball, hiked the state parks, visited the historic site, took the ferries to Bald Head Island, walked the beach, ate a bunch of seafood, attended the Island Men Mac and Cheese Festival, and saw some amazing sunrises and sunsets. The dining room table was the best gathering spot. Erin was available if we needed anything. Hope to come back next year.
Our annual Thanksgiving family vacation was a success. This was our first time staying at the Lime in the Coconut and we loved it. There were 8 of us. Plenty of room .
Our stay for the weekend was absolutely amazing! Super close to little shops, bars/restaurants, and the perfect distance away from the beach. The decor of the house was so cute and made you feel right at home. Our host was super friendly and helpful! Highly recommend booking a stay here!
Couldn’t make it to the beach for a full week so we found this little gem for a 2 night stay. Erin was very quick responding to a few questions we had. House is adorable! Plenty of room for me, my husband, daughter, son and 3 other 17 year old boys. Only one block from direct access to beach which was an easy walk. Be sure to check laundry room because it is full of beach goodies (beach wagon, chairs, umbrella, etc)…….we did not do that until check out. :( All sheets, towels, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, paper towels, toilet paper, cleaning supplies, etc. were supplied too!! Thank you for making our first trip to Kure Beach a great one! We will be returning!!
We had a wide range of ages stay at this home (from 2yrs to 5ish) and WE ALL ENJOYED IT. Great amount of space for the kids to play around also! Not to mention - the SUPER SHORT WALK to the beach! We enjoyed our stay and everything that the host had to offer within the home, plus great communication. Thank you for hosting us :)
Cozy, pet-friendly house, great walkable neighborhood close to beach.
Traveling in from fort Campbell, fort Belvoir & fort bragg!awesome weekend everything was on point had all amenities, provided coziness, the deck, outside shower, washer and drier, and the distance to the beach is literally right there! My family were very relaxed & fulfilled! Thank you!
close to the beach and everything else - little doll house that is bigger than it looks - enjoyed having practically no steps- thumbs up!!!
Fantastic little house that had everything we needed. Owner was very responsive and accommodating. The proximity to beach access makes enjoying the beach a breeze!
We had a great time during out stay at this house! We had 9 people and there was plenty of space for all of us to relax and enjoy ourselves. The house is located just one block from a public beach access so we could just walk back and forth whenever we wanted. The house was very well-stocked with dishes, linens, cooking supplies and paper goods. When we had a need, Erin was quick to respond. Another nice thing was the garage attached to the house where we could easily store sandy beach items. The outdoor shower was also a big bonus! We had a great time and definitely recommend this house for anyone wanting a fun and relaxing vacation at the beach!
Very cute house, well cared for. A very short block from the beach - easy walk.
Great location, nice yard to play in, and everything we needed was in the house. Would repeat!
Wilmington and surrounding were once my home for many years and I met my late husband there. We married and had our first place there in 2003. He passed suddenly, so I brought our 3 children and my mother back for a long trip down memory lane and this was the best home base that we could have asked for. My mom is elderly and isn't as able to move around as she used to be, so staying in a hotel with long hallways or a multi-story house with steps would have been terrible. It is close to the beach, Island Market, the golf cart rental kiosk, and Kure Beach Pier. Easy walking distance, super easy biking distance, and since we went with a golf cart to save gas on the island, everything was fast to get to. Beach access is free after 5pm during the season and there are cart spaces. The deck was our hang out spot and there is not much shade, but there is a table with an umbrella. If I were to make suggestions to the owners, one would be to install a mister system along the roofline above the back door, but that creates a new set of rules and maintenance. The patio string lights are no longer there and what looked like a fire pit is now filled in with flowers. All of which was fine for us. There was one digital clock in the kitchen, so if you're used to a device such as an Alexa or Google, you'll have to bring one. I would say that another suggestion would be to install an Echo Show, that people can't remove, to speak to loved ones, hear the weather, etc. Oh, and I did buy a wire wisk and left it in the kitchen drawer. My 8 and 11 year-olds stayed in the former sunroom and were very comfortable. My 14 year-old was also super happy in her room with the day bed and desk. There is a difference in the mattresses in the two larger bedrooms. I took the middle room with adjoining, shared bathroom. It was very soft. My mother took the bedroom with the private bath near the rear entrance, and the mattress was firm. They suited our needs, just know there is a difference. The house was very clean (!!!), but this is the coast and we have critters that the owner clearly does their level best to control. We saw several palmetto bugs, which are coastal cockroaches. 4 alive in the house, 1 dead, and of course, many outside. There was also a small snake and a mouse by the trash cans. This is normal, but be aware with kids at the coast. Mine are mini Steve Irwins, but the adults may want to handle the trash. The artwork is beautiful and the house is comfortable and cozy.
Great location, beautifully decorated, plenty of space, nice deck, close to the beach
Our stay was brief but relaxing and we loved our time away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The quaint cottage was just the ticket and we had enough room to spread out and relax. I loved the bold color of the house and that's what most attracted me to the property. The inside was just as quaint. Great weekend overall!!! Thank you for sharing your home with us.
love the cottage, all i wanted, except the beach :( the enormous pipe across, from left to right as far as you can see hopefully this beach will be returned to its natural beauty soon wonderful sleep & stay, thumbs up :)
Place was in great condition and had everything needed for the long weekend stay. We were a block from the beach with public access. Very nice outside area to relax and the house had plenty of beds to fit the family. Would stay again!
