Two Golf Carts ~ Screened Porch ~ Pet Friendly

My families 4th year in the bungalos. This was the worst house yet. Master bed was so uncomfortable we slept on the couch. The saloon door in the master bath gave no privacy and the door itself was not easy to walk through. No cleaning supplies given. We had to buy our own spray bottle to wipe the counters and clean the bathroom. Screen porch doesn't lock.

Great House! We loved the screened porch. The kitchen and living room were wonderful and plenty of space for everyone. A gas grill would be a huge bonus for this house as there was only a smaller charcoal grill with the house. Only issue was 1 of the golf carts was out of service our entire stay. It would have been perfect if we had both golf carts but we made the best of our stay in paradise. We would definitely revisit this house!

We had 9 in our group and the 2 cart was gonna be the highlight of our stay as it would fit all of us on our ventures! We'll 1 cart was out of commission which we found out the day of our travel to the property. I got a call from a lady that told us it was not gonna be available and we we would be compensated per day that we couldn't use it so ok we thought as long as that was the case we were ok with making multiple trips with 1 cart. Now that our stay is over I HAVE BEEN INFORMED THAT WE WILL NOT BE GETTING AND COMPENSATION FOR THE CART LIKE WE WERE PROMISED!!!!ALL THE DISHES, SILVERWARE, AND COOKWARE WE HAD TO CLEAN BEORE USE DUE TO BEING POORLY CLEANED BEFORE OUR ARRIVAL. PARKING WAS TERRIBLE. WE HAD 2 VEHICLES THAT WE HAD TO PARK VERY TIGHTLY TO EACH OTHER AND IN ORDER TO DO THAT WE HAD TO MOVE ONE CART TO THE SIDE TO MAKE IT ALL FIT. WE WERE TOLD TO MOVE THE CART OFF THE GRASS OR THEY WOULD REVOKE OUR CART PRIVILEGES. WE ALSO COULDNT PARK IN THE STREET PER THERE RULES EIITHER.LONG STORY SHORT WE ALL WAS VERY DISAPPOINTED IN HOW WE WERE TREADED AND HOPE OTHERS SEE THIS BEFORE MAKING A CHOICE OF STAYING HERE!!!

One golf cart was broken by previous renters for the enitrety of our stay. We were spoken to very rudely by the HOA on regards to the golf cart placement but we couldnt move it, since it was broken. We were constantly juggling cars because you cant park on the street. With 2 toddlers on different schedules, the broken golf cart made beach trips very inconvenient. Home did not have a single plastic plate, or cup when it is apparently family friendly. The bunk rooms air doesnt circulate well, it was very hot at night and there is no tv in the kid room. There were no locks on bathroom doors and swinging doors in the master with hinges so tight they knocked my kids over and hit in the head. I have been attempting to reach management multiple times and Pam continually dodges my calls and her team says she will call back. We were promised a reimbursement for the hassle of the golf cart and have not heard anything back. We made the best of our stay but had quite a few hurdles to jump.

Reviewer Comments: Love this Bungalo that is tucked away on the back street, surrounded by trees, shade and amazing screened in front porch!We spent majority of the time on the porch watching TV and relaxing with our fur babies. Quick, easy walk to the pool and 2 golf carts to utilize! Perfection!

We live on one of the Barrier Islands in the Panhandle and the Beach is across the street, and bay is our backyard. But every once in a while we need to spend an extended period in the San Destin Area. We used to stay at the Effy. This house was ideal. It was clean, roomy, and well kept. The street was private. We brought our 2 little dogs and even though they yelped a little on their walks, the streets and neighborhoods were ideal for. We had a wonderful stay. Now the beach is nearby if you you want but we were looking for something else and found. However the restaurant at the Beach which is a golf cart ride away has a great menu and spectacular view. So even though we were not looking for Beach it was a great place to visit and eat. Thank you!

It We really liked having a separate pool in this neighborhood. The only bad thing was, if it rains the streets and driveways flood in the back of this neighborhood where this house is located.

Great property! Golf cart, close to Baytowne etc. I liked the extra touches such as linen spray and soap etc, but do make sure you bring salt and pepper (or buy some) and coffee filters as well as your own beach towels. Other than that it was great, clean, comfortable!

Beautiful clean bungalow. Good quality cookware, dishes, and untencils.

The house is nicely decorated and has a fresh and bright beachy feel. My only ask is that you inform guests that they will probably need more toilet paper and paper towels than provided so that they can bring some from home.
