Stayed Jul 17, 2025Nice place overall, perfect for 2 couples, and very nice to be able to walk downtown! Lighting in the bedrooms and bathrooms could be brighter. Adding some sort of cabinet in the bathrooms would make it easier to get ready since there are pedestal sinks. Definitely not a deal breaker though! We enjoyed our stay and would stay again if in the area.

Stayed Oct 10, 2024This house was perfect for two couples. Its easy to find and we could walk downtown. One Pickup with a trailer would have room to park, but our friend was kind enough to let us park our rigs at his property and just mob'd around on our machines. Kitchen had everything we needed for cooking but bring any spices you might need besides salt & pepper. We would defiantly stay here again.

Stayed Jul 25, 2024We loved the house. It was very clean and the beds were comfortable. The location was great! We could walk to downtown in the evenings. Even though it’s a duplex we never heard noise coming from the guests on the other side. I would definitely stay here again.

Stayed Jul 6, 2024We enjoyed our stay in Custer! The house was perfect for our stay with our adult children. It was very clean and well maintained. It was centrally located to all of the nearby sites we wanted to visit during our week in South Dakota, Custer State Park, Mt. Rushmore, Jewel Cave, Wind Cave, Crazy Horse, Badlands, Spearfish Canyon, Deadwood and Devil’s Tower in WY. It was about a block from downtown Custer so we could walk to the stores and restaurants and not have to worry about parking. Communication with the property owners was good and they were very responsive! They even searched for an item for me that I thought I’d left behind in the house. We would definitely rebook this property again should we be traveling back to Custer area. Thank you for a wonderful week!

Stayed Jul 18, 2024Perfect location being two blocks from downtown. Close to all downtown activities, but just far enough for quiet nights. We were there for Gold Discovery Days and a class reunion. We would definitely book again. Only two things that could improve our stay. Shower curtains were very hard to deal with and the bathrooms could use a cabinet or shelf for toiletries.
