Two Beaches: Long Beach & Good Harbor

This place is very cute with 3 bedrooms and 1 1/2 baths. The sunroom doubles as a 4th bedroom with a pull out couch. The place is a lot bigger inside than it seems from the photo of the outside. Everything was very clean with plenty of closet space. The rooms have ceiling fans that help keep it a little cooler. However, it was pretty hot when we were there so air conditioning would have made the stay perfect. The walk to the beach was just a few minutes and Long Beach is much more quiet than Good Harbor. Shed out back has a beach cart and chairs. Clothes line is there to hang wet towels. Check in was easy. Kitchen was fairly well stocked - maybe some wine glasses would be nice. WiFi was not great. TV kept pausing and waiting to catch up to itself so that was annoying. However, from what I understand WiFi is not great on the entire island so you'd probably get the same service anywhere in Gloucester or Rockport. Overall, really liked this place - clean, plenty of space, great location to walk to beach. Only downfalls were A/C and WiFi. I would go back and I would recommend this house for a nice stay.

We arrived near midnight on our check in day after a long trip and delays, and the house had been closed up and was hot. I was concerned about the lack of AC, though as long as you are ok with having windows open it’s really not needed given how close to the water the house is. It’s a safe area but you do need to be ok with using fresh air cooling. In the light of day it was a very nice property in a great location. It’s a safe and easy walk to both Long Beach and good harbor. It’s 300 feet from the most popular ice cream place in the area. The property is spotless and well organized and the landscaping is charming. The management company is very organized and communicated well whenever we had a question.

Large enough for the 4 adults and 2 children. The availability of beach toys, chairs, and beach cart were super helpful. We will definitely book this location again in the future.

Even rainy days were relaxing as the house has space for all to find a place of their own. Recent renovations allowed for even more comfortable living. Look forward to returning in 2022!

Just walk down the street and you will be at Long Beach, our favorite beach at Cape Ann and one of our favorite beaches period! Plenty of parking too out in the front of the house. Best part is you are not far from Gloucester in one direction and Rockport in the other. I recommend staying at Two Beaches Cottage if you are looking for that wonderful, relaxing summer beach vacation experience.

Two Beaches is especially my favorite home. It's near the beaches I love and is convenient to shopping, restaurants and attractions I remember growing up with. It's exactly like coming home. Love it!

The proximity to the beaches and stores allows for walking everywhere. The ease of living in such a lovely home is just so inviting! Can’t wait to return next summer!

Reviewer Comments: This house is very clean and super well appointed with nice towels, kitchenware, bedding etc. You can walk to either beach, probably a drop off in the car if you have little ones and lots of gear to bring. We walked using the awesome beach carts provided. There are fans provided in the house so you can keep the air flowing and with windows open it keeps the house pretty comfortable. The yard is really pretty, nicely landscaped around some very cool rock formations. A lot of thought has gone into making this home a great rental.
