We were in town for our son's wedding. The house was amazing. Unfortunately we did not get to spend as much time there as we would have liked. Kevin was an amazing host and incredibly helpful. I cannot recommend this house enough! A must stay place in a great location!

What a beautiful home! We stayed here while attending a music festival with friends. We loved that all the bedrooms had access to their own bathrooms. The master suite had an additional room attached so that my sister could also stay with us and have some privacy at the same time. The home was clean. The communication with the owner, Kevin was always quick and helpful. The kitchen was large and had more than enough supplies to help us with making meals. The checkout process was easy. Highly recommend!

This was the perfect spot for our group of 6 women - college friends for over 50 years - to enjoy our annual reunion. We were awed to think of all that has happened within these walls over the past 125 years and we are so happy this house is under the care of owners who are preserving it and sharing it with others. This property has it all - history, comfort, privacy, location and every convenience. And exceptional hosts!

This is a lovely property, and our whole family felt lucky to stay here. We were in town for a family wedding weekend - a busy schedule, so we couldn't explore the lovely neighborhood as much as I would have liked. Every time we came back to the house, I was calmed by its beauty and stateliness. The beds were lovely, the bathrooms exceptional, and the kitchen extraordinary.

6 Ladies who have known each other before kids making their 5 th cross country get together. I was the only one from St Paul. Showed them the sites. We all loved staying at this beautiful Clarence Johnston home. Plenty of space to entertain,sleep,cook,giggle and tell our stories to each other. Booked this beautiful house with my husband, adult children and their significant others for a weekend to attend a family wedding. The house was everything we could hope for and more. The neighborhood was absolutely gorgeous. Kevin is a wonderful host. We wouldn't hesitate to book again.

We stayed here as a family group for a recent college graduation. Love the home!! It is a beautiful historic home with many lovely architectural features. Better yet for our group was the fact that each bedroom has its own en suite bathroom, giving each family privacy. And it is amazingly quiet even with a large group in residence! Would highly recommend this property- just wishing we would have found it sooner for the four years our daughter was at school in the area!

Everything was perfect. The rooms were great; each room had their own bathroom. The coffee and tea outside the room was wonderful. Kitchen fully stocked. Kevin, was more than gracious as a host. Every inquiry was returned quickly. Great tips on what to do, where to eat, etc. You will not be disappointed if you choose this property.
