Turtles By the Bay Comfy Fun Sunny Retreat by the Bay w/ Crystal Water, Pool

This property is very nice! I love how they have extras such as bikes, goggles, floaties for the pool, pool towels, etc. This was our first family vacation and this rental was amazing! Also, I love how the renters provided a list of things to do and directions on what is expected!

This house was great for what we needed. It is roomy and the pool area is really nice. The kitchen is well-stocked for cooking and there are enough supplies to make it easy to cook and eat at the house. The grill is great. The location is quiet and there is a nice park right next to it which was a nice little walk in the morning. There are extra air mattresses and a pull-out bed for even more sleeping arrangements. A couple of things to note: There is no cable or local TV stations. Everything is streaming. Luckily, my husband was able to connect to our TV service and we were able to get local channels (March Madness, local news and weather). If he wasn't with me, or someone like my parents were there, we pretty much would only have Netflix for the week. Five of us stayed there. They gave us exactly 5 bath towels and washcloths. I have two teenage girls and a tween son. I was constantly throwing towels in the dryer. Having a few extra towels bath towels and washcloths would have been nice. There are no directions for clean up. We were already on the road when we got a text from the owners asking if we could strip beds and put towels in the washer. From staying at other VRBOs, I went ahead and did that before we left anyway. There is no information about garbage, recycles, departing procedures, etc. for guests. Overall, a great vacation place.

My family enjoyed our stay at Turtles on the Bay. The plantings at the front of the home are beautiful and we appreciated the clean and nicely decorated home. We were even greeted by a white great egret in the back yard one day. Even though the home is close to the airport, we really did not notice the noise and joked that we heard the planes more in our home town 18 miles from a large international airport. The home was very comfortable and spacious. I did not mind doing laundry during our trip because the machines were brand new. We appreciated the various sitting areas in the pool area so we could be in the shade if we wanted. Another aspect we noticed was the cleanliness of the gas grill. We were grateful to have the grill available. The hosts were great. They were not intrusive at all but I know they were a call or text away if we had a problem. This place worked well for our family of four adults.

The house was perfect for our family. We used the pool every day. We made breakfast and supper at the house. We had everything for cooking our meals available. The home was beautiful inside and out!! Location was great!! We flew in to Sarasota, and the house was so close. The location of the home was close to beaches and the ocean. This place was A+++++

This home is lovely. Spacious, clean, full of comfort and amenities, and definitely as described. We enjoyed lounging out by the pool with our books in the sunshine, relaxing inside and playing games at one of the two dining tables, cooking meals, and more. The hosts provided extra games and fun stuff for our two boys for the duration of the trip, which was a wonderful extra and was put to good use! The beds are very comfortable as well. We have a few things we needed to reach out to the hosts about, and they were friendly and helpful. Highly recommend this place.

We came in for a family wedding and this house had everything we needed. If we came back again to this area we would love to stay there again.

The was well equipped and clean. I was disappointed that the house didn’t have the hot tub that was listed online. Location was a short drive to a number of restaurants, stores , and the. beach. I wish that we could have stayed there longer

What a perfect home this was for us. We came into town for my little brothers wedding, we had never been to Sarasota area before. The house is a really short 5 min drive from the airport. Its a quiet neighborhood with a very private backyard. The kids loved the pool - the family as a whole really enjoyed our walks over to the adjacent park during the morning hours. Drives to the beaches in Siesta Key and Lido are about 20 minutes which is close enough to enjoy, but far enough to not be in the hustle of the tourist traffic in the areas. We had a wonderful time and the hosts were incredibly generous with kitchenwares for all of our cooking needs. We would 100% be back as renters again in the future.
